Loud & Clear
Easy to connect to the existing mains connection and it all seems to be working good and it sounds loud enough.

Brilliant heat alarm to comply with kitchen building regs
I bought this to comply with the up to date kitchen and building regulations. It is of good quality, was easy to fit, good sound quality with electric power and battery back up to keep you safe. Excellent value for money. There’s so many options out there, why pay over the odds when this performs as well as it does. Highly recommend.

Battery included didn’t work
This was the second one I bought and in the end it looks to be a great product. The only issue is , the cheap 9v battery included was flat so it kept beeping at me. After buying a good Duracell battery the beeping stopped. They even recommend Duracell as the battery replacement so why not include one.

Works absolutely fine and was very easy to install.
My smoke alarms in my house were over 10 years old and according to the specs on the previous ones - it was time for me to replace as is the case with a lot of smoke alarms. These ones were very easy to install and there's even a video on YouTube of how to do it. I did however need to purchase a new base for these which at the time of writing this - I can't find on Amazon. The base is "FireAngel Mains Standalone Push-Fit Base" and it's basically a base that the cables from the circuit clip into so you can push-fit your smoke alarm. It also gives some extra space for the wires to sit in if you ceiling cavity isn't that big.Anyway, once they were installed I tested them and they beeped independently and together as the manufacturer stated they would. Very happy and confident they're working and I'm now looking forward to having them scream at me every morning for the next 10 years to remind me that my toast is done!

Good Price
Bought as a replacement for an OOD detector that was in our stairwell. I should have looked at the mains supply fitting as the new detector was not compatible with the old one. Managed to modify it using a junction box but I was lucky as the fitting was easily accessible in the loft.

Just What The Doctor Ordered
Bought 2 of these, both hard wired in to existing cables as my 2 previous alarms needing replacing as they were over 10yrs old, although a different brand I bought these after reading various reviews of this product, very easy to fit, obviously turn the mains off and what I highly recommend is to buy the base plate for these alarms to make life so much easier for you,Amazon don’t sell them but I purchased mine from Screwfix,FireAngel 959CC base plate, these make wiring easier in my opinion and then all you have to do is push and click in this smoke alarm making sure that the connections line up,simple and efficient, highly recommend these alarms and definitely the base plate too

Perfect replacement
Bought two of these to replace ancient BRK alarms. Removed old units but left existing surface mount and terminal block in place. Connected 3 wires, L, N, Interlink from supplied harness and the backplate of this alarm fitted old surface mount perfectly. Insert battery, clip in connector, push and twist, done.A surface mount is required unless you want to muck about cutting holes in the ceiling to allow space for wiring etc.

Not the most reliable
Less than 2 years ago I replaced all 3 smoke detectors in our house. As the supplied fitting has very little space for the cables so I also invested in the optional quick release mounts. I have already had to replace one of these as it started intermittently setting off. There was a fair bit of dust inside the detector however even after throughly cleaning, it still was going off. No issues after replacing it but would have hoped for better reliability.
