Great Mobile, with Night Vision
Great mobile, I cannot fault this phone on any way. You would have to pay a lot more to get the same spec. Don’t be put off by the low price, this really is a bargain. It is chunky and heavy which is exactly what I wanted after having so many thin slippery phones in the past! I did get a cover and extra screen protector but don’t bother with a case as it is much better to use without one. I recommend this for someone wanting a rugged phone - it is waterproof but that is not something I am likely to need. This is a genuine recommendation as I have already recommended it to my dad who has bought one also! 5.0 out of 5 stars Quality long battery easy to use phoneColour: BlackFantastic night vision, phone, does what it says, longest lasting battery ever! Works as good as any other branded mobile phone. Call quality is great too. Highly recommend really great as a work phone, if out and about, extra screen savers are also available for it, should you manage to break the screen saver in the 1st place, ( this comes fitted to the phone when purchased.) This would also be a fab phone for kids that are always dropping them . Memory capacity is fantastic, easy to use and download apps on from Google store. 100% recommended

A great phone. Don't let the low price put you off.
This is a brilliant phone and fantastic value for money. Long battery life. Operating system works very fast. Hss lots of memory/storage. Seems to be very bounce proof (and grandkid proof). Took a while to work out the different working to an Iphone but now I can't fault it.I would highly recommend this phone to anyone, especially if you need a rugged waterproof one (I take it with me when I am powerboat instructing)

Perfect Phone for Tough Jobs and Long Days
I bought this phone for my father, who works outdoors frequently and needed something tough enough to handle drops and this phone absolutely delivers. The battery life is incredible. It's definitely large and heavy, but that's a fair tradeoff for the durability and long-lasting power it offers. It's cheap, has good battery life and lasts in tough environments. Love its functionality and too

Good phone
What a phone for the price amazing. The sound quality is good, it functions at a phone which is great can get all the latest apps and no issues, the screen is good and the battery lasts for ages. One down fall is that it's a bit bigger the normal phones and it's heavier

Oukitel G1 in 2025
Oukitel G1 ReviewThe Oukitel G1 is a solid budget-friendly option that offers an impressive array of features for its price point. As someone who's always on the lookout for a decent, affordable phone, the G1 caught my eye with its balanced specs and performance.Design and Build QualityThe first thing you’ll notice about the Oukitel G1 is its sleek and minimalist design. The build quality is surprisingly good for a phone in this price range, with a sturdy plastic body that feels durable enough to withstand everyday wear and tear. The phone’s weight is just right—not too heavy, yet not feeling like a toy either. The 5.5-inch HD display is vibrant and clear, making it a joy to browse, watch videos, and play games on.PerformanceEquipped with a quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM, the Oukitel G1 handles most tasks smoothly. Sure, it might not blaze through heavy gaming or multitasking, but for daily use—checking social media, messaging, and light gaming—it performs admirably. Apps load reasonably fast, and the UI is generally responsive, with minimal lag.Battery LifeBattery life is one of the standout features of the Oukitel G1. With a 3000mAh battery, it easily lasts through a day of moderate use. I’ve found that even with extensive browsing and a bit of video streaming, the battery holds up quite well, meaning you can stay connected without constantly searching for a charger.CameraThe camera performance is decent for casual photography. The 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera are nothing to write home about, but they get the job done for quick snaps and video calls. Photos are clear and reasonably detailed in good lighting, although low-light performance is predictably less impressive.SpeakersA notable aspect of the Oukitel G1 is the placement of its speakers on the back of the phone. This design choice might be a bit unconventional, and it does have its pros and cons. On the upside, the audio quality is quite good for a budget phone, with clear and loud sound output. However, the rear placement means that sound can get muffled when the phone is lying flat on a surface. It’s something to be mindful of, especially if you frequently use the speakerphone or watch videos without headphones.ConclusionAll in all, the Oukitel G1 is a commendable choice for anyone looking for a budget-friendly smartphone. While it might have some limitations, like the back-placed speakers and average camera performance, it excels in delivering solid everyday functionality and great battery life. If you’re after a no-frills phone that won’t break the bank, the Oukitel G1 is definitely worth considering.

Not very good
Got this phone in january, along with it a screen protector. Over 2 months it got quite beat up (more the screen protector's fault) so i installed a new one. The NEXT day, i walk out the door and as im locking it the phone falls screen first, about maybe a meter or so, onto a flat tile of pathway made of stone. No jagged edges or sharp rocks or anything. The screen had cracked THROUGH the brand new screen protector. So much for ruggedAlso for a phone advertised with pictures of people hiking and stuff, very odd that it doesn't have a built in compass feature at all, no compass or magnetic field sensors at all, even though it's standard on most phones today. The wifi and mobile data connectivity is worse than most phones I've had except for maybe a phone i bought back in 2009 (obviously).Since i was born i have not broken a single smartphone screen on my own, what it took to break a phone screen of mine in the past was a literal house fire to show you how careful i am of my phones.Nice well performing phone, actual performance specs are legit. If you want a gaming phone for 2 months before it breaks or a burner phone since it cracks so easily sure go for it, but otherwise i wouldn't recommend.
