My new favorite Generator
I have run it through its paces and it came out with flying colors! What I love about this generator:1. It came really well packaged - no damage2. It came with oil and a funnel3. The door to check/add the oil has quarter-turn fasteners (no tools required)4. Starts easy…I mean really easy !5. It is very quiet6. Very light weight (47 pounds)7. Very powerful - 4000 wattsWhat I don’t like:1. So far..nothing….I did a 7 hour break-in and ran my 27 ft travel trailer with it. It started the 15,000 BTU Air conditioner with no problems. I ran the AC for 7 hours on one tank of fuel (the blower ran all 7 hours..the AC compressor ran for two hours)After the break-in period, the oil was pretty dark (not black, just grey) I changed the oil and put in Full Synthetic 10-30 oil. The oil change is easy if you buy one of those oil change suction devices. The controls are easy to understand, it seems like a very quality generator. I expect it to last many, many years.

Great inverter
Bought this inverter for my RV. When I need to run the AC or microwave this unit has no problem. Easy to crank. Usually one or two pulls. Runs very quiet when just charging batteries and lights. It will get louder when under a big load but nothing like the old generatorsI also use it in parallel with a Champion 2500 to run both AC’s when needed. Both AC’c have soft starts.

Please read. Top Notch 👌
Im sitting here actually laughing writing this review. I’ve been wrenching on cars for 28 years, and was a small engine mechanic before that. I remember when these guys came out, and I’m a brand name b*****d. As we all know, quality in a product nowadays is NOT what it was a decade or more ago especially from familiar names. This thing really is an engineering marvel. I know my stuff, do my research repetitively, and I’m humored that this company crammed a 149cc engine in this with a considerable punch, while making an a$$ out of the biggest brands in portable power. The unit I looked at was 3300 starting watts, no fuel shut off, no gauge for the fuel, 10 pounds heavier, only 2500 watts running and bigger. And significantly more expensive. 799 that is, plus not having a good rap for customer service. This one boasts considerably more power, a fuel gauge, lighter, longer run time, better build quality and I can keep going. It’s exciting to see. Do your research, this company really has something when it comes to build quality, ease of use, maintenance, and very clear instructions along with 24 hour customer support. Good luck finding anyone that offers that nowadays. In a world that quality and service is not what it used to be, I suggest you look very closely at this company, you won’t regret it.

Fired right up.
Fired up on the second pull. Tested with meter and all outlets worked. Did 5 hour break in. Powered my rig just fine. Was able to run 2 air conditioners with no problem. One has soft start the other does not. With some power management it also ran my electric fireplace and electric water heater. Did another 5 hours and changed the oil again. More power, less weight, and smaller size than my old 3200 that weighed in at 80lbs.If there were two things that would improve this: make it a little quieter under load and put counter on it so you know how many hours it has run.

Nice Generator for Camper
This is a great RV generator; it's light (68 lbs) and quiet (think of the level of quietness of a vacuum). We love this generator. Starts easy also. 3500w - runs our a/c in the camper all day without a problem.

Pretty handy
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Exceeded my expectations, runs a/c and other items within power spec. Gas hog though when a/c is running full bore for hours

Garbage generator model# 100809
DO NOT BUY THIS GENERATOR! IT IS FOREIGN GARBAGE, MADE OF FOREIGN GARBAGE, BY FOREIGN GARBAGE! We bought this champion generator just barely a month ago, and it worked great, till the pull start rope broke after less than a month of use. Amazon will not except it for a return, and champion only wants to send parts and videos of how to repair it yourself. The problem with that is they do not have any videos, or materials to tell you how to repair this model # 100809, instead they send you a video of a different model, which is completely different on the interior, with far more connections, and screws and bolts. You basically have to disassemble the entire generator just to replace the recoil assembly, all because the subpar China made crap broke for no apparent reason after less than a month of use. Do not buy this 4000 watt generator, model# 100809. It is garbage, and so is the company that built it.

Good generator
Got this from my camper, the air conditioner bogs it down just a little bit too much for me. I would’ve much rather had something a little bit bigger however it said that it could handle what I have overall it’s a good purchase though.
