Nice upgrade from my Lumintop EDC01 despite the extra bulk
Great little light.I bought this during the Spring Sale. I'd never spend $60 on a tiny flashlight, but 30 was reasonable, so I snagged it.Pros:- It's lighter than my full sized Baton SR2II, which is nice if you clip it to a baseball hat.- Battery life is amazing (on lower power levels)Cons:- It's bulkier than my trusty AAA Lumintop I've carried for years, but not prohibitively so.We went camping shortly after purchasing, and I used it in Moonlight mode each night during the trip. Moonlight seems low, but when it's pitch-black, it's a surprisingly perfect amount of light to see, while also not disturbing. When we returned, I continued my experiment. So far I'm at 14 days of using this light, every single night, plus intermittently on higher power levels during the day, and the flashlight is still showing a full 3 bars of remaining energy.I pulled out a multimeter and it measured 3.87volts, which is equivalent to around ~70% battery remaining. Not bad! While I prefer the form-factor of the Lumintop AAA, one problem I always had was the flashlight would die on me at random times. Having a battery indicator is invaluable on a pocket EDC flashlight. Being able to punch up to 1300 lumens is nice, but ultimately, if Lumintop or Olight could add a battery indicator to a AAA version, that'd be my perfect EDC companion! The length is the same as the Lumintop, but as you can see, it is much bulkier. The Lumintop disappears in my pocket, I forget that it's there. But you won't forget about the Baton. I'm regularly sliding it to the inside, or the corner, to get it out of the way of my jeans and keys.

Powerful but light and durable.
What I like about this Olight is that it's small, compact, and powerful. I can also clip it to my cap for hands free use. At full power, you get 1100 lumens. Though I never have to use this at all. Keep in mind that if you do, your battery will drain faster. But for the other settings, it's perfect. Great for camping and when you need just enough light to light up the tent area. At its lowest setting, it's perfect for reading a map or a book. Very versatile and compact, it's small enough to fit in my front pocket when ever I need it. The construction is really good quality. After I finish camping, I accidentally forgot I had it in my breast pocket of my flannel. Only after the wash and dry, I realized I forgot it was there. I turned it on and it was still working. I highly recommend this light for use at home, in the car, and camping.

Compact Powerhouse – The Ultimate EDC Flashlight!
The OLIGHT Baton 4 blew me away with its performance and build quality. This little flashlight is insanely bright for its size—up to 1,300 lumens that easily light up a backyard or trail. It's perfect for everyday carry, camping, night walks, or keeping in a glovebox. What really sets it apart is the charging case—not only does it recharge the flashlight multiple times, but it also shows battery levels for both the light and the case. That’s next-level convenience, especially for travel or extended outdoor use. The magnetic base and side switch are classic OLIGHT features I’ve come to love, and they work flawlessly here too.The Baton 4 feels solid in hand, has a premium finish, and fits in any pocket or bag. Battery life is excellent, and the beam quality is crisp and wide.

Solid light
This seems to be a very high quality light. I've only worn it for about an hour, but it clips on to my hat and stays secure, and has a magnetic end to stick to things as well. It appears to be well sealed, I wore it in the rain for half of that hour. Bright enough, and very compact. I'm not sure what real-world battery life is, but this appears to be able be able to replace a headlamp. I saw Dan Becker refer to it on YouTube and decided to try it. I may pick up another!

It's everything that claims to be ..
This flashlight is everything it claims to be. it's very reliable very very bright.. I'm a big flash light person and so far this is the best flight light I've ever owned. I lost my first one that was the same one just the older motel and only 1,200 lumen.. this would make a great gift for anyone over 18 only and I only say that because it's so bright that it could possibly do eye damage or burn someone or start a fire but does have a safety lock which is nice if you have young kids.. everything is very reliable from the stong magnet to the pocket clip very good quality metal and very nice color.. very recommended ...

Love it but has some quirks
Love the look of this. The clip fits securely on a baseball cap to use as a headlamp at night. Press and hold button to toggle between the three brightness modes. Definitely bright enough for outdoor use at campsite. Short press to turn off. It turns back on to the last used brightness mode. Battery life has been good so far. The magnetic charger is cool but obviously it means you have to use the one proprietary charger so it's not compatible with the rest of your usb-c kit. Comes with a nice soft carrying pouch to keep your charger.Cons: Charger not compatible with all the other thingsThe button is easy to press so could accidentally be turned on if it's in a pocket or bag. There is a lock out mode, but that's just one more step to deal with when you just need a light.I wish it had an amber light mode to avoid attracting bugs.
