I had faltered after reading most of the 1 star reviews. But, in ordering and easily putting together this more than very firm safety rail, I found it surprisingly solid and usable for my aging wife. If there is a negative, it would be that yes, if "much weight" is put on one side 'only', it could tip. But, I’ve watched (and tried myself), and with her small frame, I doubt there will be any tipping. For us, the option of a 5" riser attached to the top of the toilet is not an option for my 5’ wife unless I were to built a step to the toilet; (no!). For those well over her short 110 lb frame, a ‘high rise’ may work fine. -- Now, as to the suction cups, no, they give no gain on our tile floor. Sure, the tubed rubber feet slip a might but it has been minimal. -- As to the sponge pads for the back rail, they are overly cheap and useless and I can't see anyone really using them; an insult to the solid frame. Their form and elasticity is a shame; 1 out of a best of 10. I will be purchasing a peace of 3/4 in. x 6 ft. Foam Semi-Slit Pipe Insulation to rather use from HD ($2.11). -- And no, the very 'solid' fitting adjustable back rail bars fit not behind the toilet seat on our toilet as they may for many. -- So, I unfeelingly give it all a 5 star because as in 'our' case, I'm more than impressed with how solid and usable the unit is. -- As to tipping, if side mount refillable water containers were to hang under the rail bar on each side, any sliding and or tipping very likely would be alleviated for taller and or heavier individuals. As for me, I even like using it "as is" for my ‘comfort’ and I need it not. To my surprise, I’d say, anyone heading into their 70’s or 80’s should have one! To the 90 year old, use both hands on the side rails to set down, or get up. For most that would be simple.

Worth every penny.
Purchased for my 90 y/o grandfather. His strength isn't what it used to be, but he still insists on doing things on his own. This has been a godsend for us, as he is able to maintain his independence while also strengthening his arms in the process. The suction cups seem to have trouble clinging to the floor, but that's probably more an issue with our tiling. I can always change them back to the original rubber stoppers they came with. Even without the suction it does a fair job of staying in place. The quality of the product is superb, and seems to be build to last. It's adjustable functions allow it to fit in our tiny bathroom with ease.

Very satisfactory item
I thought for years about such an aid and now that I have this one, my life is remarkably easier. It was particularly easy to install, with a clear instruction booklet--no need for tools. I have a couple of quibbles: The suction cups might be handy for some people but to move the stand when those suction footpads are installed, you would need to bend down to the floor, locate a small transparent plastic tab and lift it up, for 2 or 4 of those suction cups. Not easy for many older folks. Also, though it is advertised as foldable, it isn't, or at least not in the way that a walker usually is. To "fold" it you would need to detach its two parts, and then you would have, not a folded item, but an item in two distinct parts. However, it would be readily storable without occupying much space if you wanted to go to the trouble of taking it apart in that way.For my situation, neither of this issues matters much but for some people they might be important.

Sturdy but fit could be better
Compare to some others we've purchased, this one is sturdy and you don't have to mess with re-tightening screws or it lifting up easily if lean to heavily at the end. However, you need to check (especially at lower settings for shorter people) the space between your toilet seat cover and the back bar, especially if you are a man or just cleaning and need to lift up both seat & cover. It's tight so it can cause the cover and/or seat to tilt forward then fall down. However, is you push the bar back further, it'll scratch up your toilet seat cover. They do provide a pretty cheap Styrofoam padding which is more like simply package stuffing/wrapping to protect scratching but then that makes the bar even thicker and less space behind it when you need to lift the lid/seat. I think if they had modified the bar shape or even put some sort of coating/covering that doesn't scratch yet keep it "thin" like they have around handle grips on certain garden clippers or dolly handle grips it could fix that problem. For this "fit/space" issue and scratching is why I can't give this a 5.

Great product! Adjustable!
I don’t usually do reviews on products but this item was well worth it. It was sooo easy to put together even with my arthritic hands. I bought this for my husband who has trouble getting up from the toilet. It worked perfectly. Kudos to the manufacturer for making a quality product. We have gone from me having to help him up (6’4”, I’m 5’4”) to his independently getting up himself!!! 5 stars. For the money, you can’t beat this product.

Makes getting up and down so much easier
This toilet set rail is exactly what I was looking for. It makes getting up and down so much easier. I like it so much, I ordered a 2nd one to put in our other bathroom. You just want to make sure you grip it on both sides so it doesn't try to tip to one side.

Easy to assemble, good quality and sturdy
This chair was better than I imagined. I injured my knee and needed something sturdy. The instructions with video link QR code were easy to follow and shipment included extra pieces. I used it today and the quality was evident. After an injury it is important to not slip in the shower. I highly recommend this product.
