Good product, replacing a similar one after 5 years
Uses standard brushes, doesn't have excessive number of useless "smart" features, good battery life (2 weeks +), gives warning of low battery unlike some models which just go flat. Will buy again if model still available in 5 years if it lasts as long as the previous one

Effective cleaning with smart features.
I have just upgraded to the Oral-B Pro 3 Electric Toothbrush, and I've been quite impressed with its performance. The toothbrush offers effective cleaning thanks to its oscillating and rotating brush head, which removes plaque and debris with ease. The addition of a Smart Pressure Sensor is a nice touch, as it alerts me when I'm brushing too hard, helping to prevent gum damage and sensitivity. The toothbrush comes with two brush heads, which is convenient for couples or households with multiple users. The brush heads are easy to change and provide a comfortable brushing experience.I appreciate the sleek design of the toothbrush, which looks modern and stylish on my bathroom counter. The battery life is also impressive, lasting for several days on a single charge, making it ideal for travel or use on the go.While I'm generally pleased with the Oral-B Pro 3 Electric Toothbrush, I did notice that it tends to vibrate quite loudly, which may be a concern for light sleepers or those with sensitive ears. Additionally, the price point is slightly higher compared to other electric toothbrushes on the market.Overall, the Oral-B Pro 3 Electric Toothbrush offers effective cleaning and smart features that enhance the brushing experience. If you're looking for a reliable electric toothbrush with advanced features, this one is worth considering.

Powerful, long charge simple toothbrush
Had an electric - 2xAA battery powered - toothbrush in the past, it wasn't very good. Went manual since then, which was better at keeping plaque off my teeth. Saw this version recently at a great price and am very impressed.Just 2 settings keeps things simple: full gas or gentle. This brush is noticeably more powerful than older and traditional battery powered models. After the first few uses my mouth was tingling due to how vigorous it is. Alternating one week with the cleaning head and one week with the whitening head my teeth are visibly cleaner and whiter. The power is consisent and lasts over a week per charge: the brush will sustain full power up until a point where it will drop on to gentle mode when the battery reaches a certain low level, there's no gradual fade in performance as you approach charge time. The gentle mode is great for brushing around sore areas, new fillings etc. That's it, 2 modes, powerful, long charge - great.

BEST TOOTH BRUSHES AVAILABLE
This toothbrush replaces another Braun Oral-B that had been going on for years, there was nothing wrong with it but the battery needed recharging more often than it used to. It has lasted me over 10 years. It is obvious that the battery ages with charging and recharging. This new one has a much smaller charger, a pressure button and a low battery warning light, it also comes with a handy see-through plastic travel case. It would be easier to pack than the old one.The beauty of the Oral B is that most models are compatible with their different brushes and you can pick up cheaper toothbrushes that also work on this model.Because of the audible change in vibration you know for certain that you are brushing teeth for the recommended 2 minutes (30 seconds per quarter).Just hoping that this unit lasts as long as the one it replaced.

Built to last
Best investment I ever made as you shouldn't hold back when your spending on your teeth. I have had this 3+ years and still works as the day I bought it. You just need to change the heads. Has an indicator to let you know when battery is low.

Means business
When my old basic electric brush finally conked out, my partner recommended this brand and model - as he already had one. It's sturdy - and comfortable to use. The slanted shape of the brushes on the brush head is different to what I had before so it took a while to get used to it, but it seems to clean well. The light sensor for brushing too heavily is also useful, as I didn't have that before. The extra features are worth it and the Amazon price compared well when I purchased.

Buy the Pro 2 2000 instead?
My first electric toothbrush and it does the job perfectly. I did extensive research into the different types of oral B pro toothbrushes but because it was so new there was so little information online that compared the Pro 3 3000 with the Pro 2 2000. So going by older reviews for pro 3000 I thought it would be similar to the new pro 3 3000 and got this one.BUT to my disappointment after browsing around 2 weeks later, I realised that the Pro 2 2000 essentially does the same thing as the Pro 3 3000! And the Pro 2 2000 is 20 pounds cheaper! It has the same 2 functions of daily clean and gum care, the same travel case and so the only difference is that you get 2 toothbrush heads with the Pro 3 3000 rather than 1 with the Pro 2 2000.So essentially you are paying 20 pounds more for an extra brush head! I would recommend the Pro 2 2000 over this one and save yourself 20 quid.At the end of the day, I should have looked around more before buying this brush. However, I cannot fault the brush, it is a decent toothbrush and the travel case is actually quite handy.I used the brush right out of the box (i.e. I didn't charge it first) and the battery only lasted 5 days for twice a day use? I'm not sure if it is because it doesn't come fully fully charged. So currently still testing out whether a full charge will last me roughly 2 weeks as advertised.****EDIT: I have now used the toothbrush after I fully charged it myself for the first time and it has lasted me 2 weeks, which is great
