Great swap for an older 28 series one-step model
I used this as a replacement for my older kwikee 28 series one-step model, and it was a perfect fit. I needed to have two steps as we lifted the camper for higher clearance in boondocking situations and one step was just too high. I was told by numerous people, including another retailer that the bolt pattern would be different and I would need to drill new holes. In fact, the new step has multiple bolt patterns, including the 6-1/2 inch pattern that matches the older step. Install was pretty straightforward for anyone with some basic tool skills. Biggest issue is the weight of the step and the logistics of getting it lined up and setting the bolts. Most recommend using a jack. We actually ended up just having one strong person lift it into place while the other set the bolts. Turned out to be quicker than expected on that front. But it IS heavy and definitely a two-person job. The electrical hookups were a direct swap for the old ones and if I had needed to wire it from scratch, everything was included. Watch a YouTube video for help. The step itself is smooth functioning and a lot quieter than the older step. Super happy with the swap and would recommend biting the bullet and making the purchase. I hemmed and hawed about it for a few months and even looked into getting a step add-on for my old one. In the end, I’m way happier with this and I think it will more than pay for itself in convenience over the years.

Exact Replacement.
The steps would not extend. checked electrical and all was OK. I found this set of replacement stairs extremely well priced. I was concerned that they may not include everything. They arrived on time and was installed in less than 30 minutes. The bolt pattern and electrical connections all matched exactly. Could not have been easier. The removal of the old stairs I had done ahead of time thankfully. The bolts were put on with the threads up and they well rusted. Had to bread off 2 plus the ground with a heavy duty 1/2-inch ratchet and a rubber mallet. The other 2 came off just fine.Of course, they look great and the wife is much happier with non-rusted steps. As I stated they are a 100% exact match to the ones on my 2006 RV.

Excellent product!
I had to replace my two-step Kwikee on my 89 Rexhall Aerex. This fit nicely. I will still need to change my door sensor switch from White to Black to wire it correctly, but the stow/deploy test bypassing the processor worked well and I can't wait to get it finally wired in per the manual! Sturdy, with nice yellow stripes near edges and good non-slip tread texture. Installing is a process, but I had some time to do it and worked through it okay.

Excellent replacement unit.
I replaced a single step automatic unit (also from Kwikee) with this two-step unit as my wife's knees are starting to give her trouble. This makes it easier to get in and out of the RV, meaning we'll get more use out of it as we're both aging. I was able to install this myself fairly easily, using our "lego" leveling blocks to support the unit as I positioned it. It is quite heavy, so don't be under it as you're working! There are only four nuts holding the old unit in place (same with the new unit once installed). Wiring was easy - as this as the same manufacturer I simply had to disconnect the old unit at a quick-connect point, then plug in the new one. There is a door switch and quick-connect pigtail included, but I didn't need to replace either of those. Added bonus is that this step opens and closes quietly instead of the loud squeal the old unit made alerting everyone in the campground that we had arrived. I was a bit concerned as this lower step unit will hit curbs when parallel parked, but I tested this by having the step hit my foot as it opened. The unit stopped easily without exerting a lot of force, so I'm not concerned about breakage. I have confidence this will make a big difference in our enjoyment of the RV.

Nice replacement
The stairs in our Rv died so we'd have to zip tie them up and then cut the zip tie off when we parked which was a real pain so we got these. I thought we should just get a new motor...but what do I know! As usual, nothing fits like the original installation. Had to drill a few new holes to install but it was worth it. They work smoothly going in and out and the lighting under them is nice at night.

Also supports 8.75 x 22 inches mounting bolt pattern
While the product description states 8x22 inches mounting hole pattern it also has a 8.75 x 22 inches mounting hole pattern. Note the six mounting holes in the product photos. This matches my old series 32 steps which used the 8.75 inch pattern in my application. The light and control connectors mated perfectly with my existing series 32 connectors,

SUPER replacement for series 32 steps!
Absolutely perfect product. Took my wife and I two hours from start to being finished, cleaned up and sitting on the couch. REALLY easy for anyone mechanically inclined. 4 bolts, 1 wire nut and some zip ties (along with a few instructions to the wife ("HOLD THAT RIGHT THERE; DON'T LET GO!"). Viola... good for another 20 years. One note... I had to turn over the switch that keeps the steps out when parked as it operated backwards with new steps. We probably could have avoided that by installing new magnetic proximity switch (included), but this was easier. We installed these steps on our beloved 35' 1999 Georgie Boy on Ford F53 chassis in Feb of 2019 for reference.
