Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou: Deluxe Edition 2

I first read Yokohama Shopping Trip years ago and it has lingered in my mind ever since. Getting to re-read this beautiful series again in such a high-quality format brings me such joy. It's almost indescribable how these pages filled with pastel colors and sparse words can invoke feelings that only beautiful artwork can. I look forward to each new edition very much

A slower type of manga, not a whole lot going on but that's kind of the point. The characters feel refreshing, truly makes one want to attend her cafe, order a coffee & just chill The characters are down to earth. It's a nice omnibus with several colorful illustrations & care has been put into it. Though as the case with many manga 3 in 1s, the quality of the paper itself feels a little underwhelming, a little thin & cheap. Eagerly awaiting for the next volume.

This is the life-est slice of life that ever sliced. There no action, next to no drama, only a very gentle humor... It's mostly just a mellow, occasionally bittersweet, slow and steady progression of days. It's introspective and a bit philosophical. I love it, but I acknowledge it's not everyone's cup of tea.

What a gift, this gorgeous series finally being released in English! Beautiful books, an all-time classic manga. Funny, sweet, reflective, melancholic, kind.Highest recommendation, 5 stars!

Perfect presentation of truly impressive, relaxing, and captivating work.

Love this series and the books, but mine came with a damaged cover even though I bought it new. I highlighted the crease in the cover and what appears to be alcohol stains across it. The corners were very lightly curled but i fixed that on my own. I would be fine with this if the book wasn't listed as new and I was told about this.

This volume collects volumes 4-6 from the original series, and reveals more about the doomed world. We also get a glimpse into the mysterious airplane that circles the earth, never to come down. And we start to get some development in the relationships as well.This is a seriously amazing manga and whose status as an all-time classic is well deserved. Highly recommended.
