Q: Does it fit an iPhone 7 plus?

It's slightly taller and wider than a passport - I would think it may. But check the phone to the height of the US passport. If the phone is more than 1/2" taller - it may not close properly. Good luck!

Q: Will it fit apple iphone x with lifeproof case?

It held my wife’s iPhone 8 easily, but without a case. I am not familiar with the lifeproof case so you may need to ask the manufacturer.

Q: While traveling are you able to listen to music with your headphones while your phone is in the bag?

I suppose if your phone is small and thin enough to fit inside the neck wallet, you could have earbuds plugged into your headphone jack, if phone has one, but this is mainly to be used as a passport/ID wallet while traveling abroad.
