Amazing cli especially when discounted!?
The cpu runs amazing and was at an affordable price when i purchased it do not listen to the ones discouraging it unless they were sent a faulty one which tends to happen. The speed amazing. Great for gaming and i like having the cpu and gpu have different work loads for gaming especially and even rendering.

Reliability
Excellent Processor, Intel always has been good to me. Would recommend to anyone who wants to build a budget or new computer, yes it's 3 years old but worth the time and money. Remember this is a DDR4 and DDR5 Processor so you can't go wrong.

Impressive Performance Upgrade - A Mid-Range Powerhouse
I recently upgraded my PC's CPU to the Intel Core i5-12600KF from an older i7 6700k, and the improvement in performance has been nothing short of phenomenal. This processor has significantly boosted my PC's speed, making it feel at least five times faster than before. The addition of extra cores in the i5-12600KF is likely a major factor in this performance leap. It handles multitasking and demanding applications with remarkable ease, making my computing experience smoother and more efficient. Whether I'm gaming, working on intensive software, or just browsing, everything feels snappier and more responsive. What I appreciate most about the i5-12600KF is its balance of power and affordability. It's a fantastic middle-ground CPU that offers high-end performance without the hefty price tag of top-tier processors. This makes it an ideal choice for users like me who want a significant upgrade without breaking the bank.In conclusion, the Intel Core i5-12600KF is an excellent choice for anyone looking to upgrade their PC. Its ability to significantly boost performance, combined with its reasonable price, makes it a standout option in the mid-range CPU market. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to rejuvenate their computing experience.

Runs faster and cooler than expected
I needed a CPU to cobble together a DDR4 system from existing parts. This was on sale. I normally buy i7 or better but in this case I doubt the extra cores would make much perceptible difference in throughput for what I do with the thing. I was surprised at how fast this CPU seems compared to Ryzen 5xxx. Its running fine on a (largish) air cooler and is supposed to be immune to the Intel voltage curse afflicting 13th and 14th gen parts. I specifically did not want the iGPU, something to consider in an F part.

Beast for the price !
Absolutely a beast CPU for the price, some of the best price to performance of any modern CPU, and doesn't draw a whole lot of power, tops out at 131 watts when the CPU is pegged at 100% and temps are kept well under control on my air cooler.

Intel is back baby!
FINALLY. Intel has got back to being a contender. I had not updated my computer since Kaby Lake... and I was a bit disappointed to see how thrashed Intel was getting by AMD.Luckily it was finally time to upgrade and my old system was dying... I had many things failing which was due to poor storage of the system while I was moving. These new 12th gen chips are blazing fast, and the prices are actually super competitive... also you can actually find them! Originally, I was going to go with an AMD build this time - but finding the chips was getting harder and they were getting pricey. Who would have thought that Intel was finally on the cheaper side of the competition!?This installed without any issues in my ASUS PRIME Motherboard, and was detected just fine, RAM was also no issue there either. Seems RAM and Intel compatibility is still on the good side.Right now, these chips are going toe to toe with chips from AMD which are what I consider at least one tier above them, which is fantastic! This level of competition is amazing for us consumers!Video editing and photo editing has been blazing fast for me so far, although I hate to admit I think the Apple M1 chips are still faster than these with WAY less power consumption. I am a part time gamer though, so there is only one choice for me ;)You will not regret this purchase!

After few years of use - rock solid
Ideal combination of performance, price and power consumption. The i5 still rocks, pulls every game I played no problem. Great for daily tasks like code compilation, video editing and compression. Luckily doesn’t have the recent 13 & 14 gen stability problems. Are i7 and i9 more powerful? Yes, but not by much, in most cases you won’t even notice. Are they worth their price and electricity bill? No.
