A must buy; but be warned you will get addicted
I bought this randomly as it was advertised as a top seller. I didn't even know what Crokinole was until I looked it up and I could not be happier I did. My wife and I were instantly addicted, as well as every friend who tried it. Outside of mine, I've purchased two others for friends, and other friends immediately bought their own boards after trying. Insanely fun, you'll spend hours playing this. The board is very high quality and we've used ours a TON for over a year now with no issue. The pegs sometimes can fly out if hit hard but they do include extra ones if you lose any. We've never lost any so it's not that big of an issue. 10/10 would recommend.

Holds up well! (1yr +)
Bought this with no previous experience over a year ago. Originally just wanted a new game that wasn’t about drawing cards to play with my roommate. Ended up loving it and putting a lot of hours on it in the last year. Everything held up well and nothing is broken or missing! Pick your speed sand wisely, the surface looks like it could be damaged by low quality sands.

Great family game! Easy to learn, well made product
We've had this for a while now. Although kind of expensive, it's well made and we've been happy with it. It only loses a start because the little pegs in the center all had to be glued in place, they kept popping out. It's a fun family game, not hard to learn.

Great Family Fun
Great game to play with family and friends!Board is well made. If you’ve never played be sure to number the pages for the instructions as they aren’t numbered. It’s easy to learn and creates so many laughs. We store it behind a door that generally stays open, but is out of the way.

fun to play
Played this game a long time ago so I was able to find one. Now I can teach others how to play it.

Very cheap, shoddy construction, not regulation Tournament size
I discovered Crokinole 2 weeks ago, and I’d purchased this board as a “learner board” while deciding if I wanted to keep playing the game.I’ve really enjoyed playing Crokinole, but this board is terribly cheaply made, and isn’t a regulation size, so learning on it is limited. I’ll be returning it for credit, and purchasing a Brown Castle board instead.Non-regulation size:“Traditional” sized boards have the buttons as 1 1/8” size and a playable area of 22-24” in diameter. “Tournament” boards are sized larger for 1 1/4” buttons, and have 26” diameter playable areas. This board is…neither. It’s advertised as “Tournament sized” but has only a 24” playable area inside the lines. The buttons are also 1 3/8” in diameter, which is neither Tournament no Traditional sized. Since the center hole, board diameter, and button sizes need to match, this board cannot be used with accessories or buttons from any other manufacturer that adhere to regulation sizes. It also means that any learning you do will not transfer to other, correctly sized boards. It’s a dead-end purchase.Shoddy construction:The above objections wouldn’t matter if you wanted a cheap “house board” just to learn on, but the construction is terribly poor: after 7 days of ownership, and some 20+ hours of play (the game is FUN!) the pegs won’t stay upright in their holes, and the center target hole is beginning to flake off. Both defects materially affect gameplay- pegs pop out instead of providing a stable play surface, and the geometry of the center 20 hole is critical for the most high-scoring shot in the game.I’ve loved Crokinole, but cannot recommend this board for $108US when high-quality starter boards from Tracey boards and Brown Castle Games start at $200US and will last a lifetime of play if well-maintained.In contrast, I babied this board, and it was falling apart after a week. Don’t waste your money, and spend a bit more instead for a quality product. Thanks, Amazon, for making returns easy and low-fuss: I’ll continue to buy from Amazon, but will steer clear of this vendor- it’s cheap “random-letter” Chinese crud.

Center hole not centered
Not the best quality for the price; the center hole is off center and some of the pegs fall out easily.

Best game I've ever played
The media could not be loaded. I've played this nearly every night since I've got it. I stumbled on it looking for another board game. Rules are so simple. I play it with my elderly grandparents, cousins in elementary school, my significant other, and the boys on drinking nights. It's good for a quick 15min game to pass time or 3 hours and you forget where the time went. It's a classy game. I'd recommend buying a bracket to hang it if you don't have a permanent spot on the coffee table like it do. It's big but worth the space. A game I'll pass down for sure.
