Saunas are the best way for me to detox, and I try to do it nearly every morning. I've ordered a lot of sauna steamers off of Amazon. They seem to all be made by the same people, but under a different company name. The quality is not that great. If they do work, when I get them, they only last about 4 months or less. This time, I went with "highest reviewed" as my top criteria. And I'm so glad I found this steamer!The steamer parts are more durable and thicker than usual. It just looks and feels like higher quality and it can get hot and stay consistently hot for more than an hour (I usually don't use it longer that). I'll set it to level 10 for about 30 minutes while I do something else, and then I can just set if for 60 min at level 15 and be just fine.Be sure to use distilled water with sauna steamers. Hard water will gunk it up and not make it last as long.

The top does not sit firmly on the machine so steam escapes. I have to put my large metal water bottle on it. Other than that it gets really hot.

Junk. Ordered one and it the lid broke within a month. Ordered a replacement and the lid broke again with 5 weeks, just last return time. No misuse. It’s used 3-4 times per week. Shouldn’t be cracking that fast.

I received my unit about three months ago and it had been working amazingly. It gets hot super fast and heats up my large one person sauna tent very quickly. After the three months of use it suddenly stopped working. The screen wouldn’t light up and the unit stopped heating up. After chatting with customer service they ended up sending me a new one free of charge. Great customer service and support.

Great piece to back up original equipment

I use 2 gor my double sized steam bath. It takes 10-15 minutes to get got but oprrates well. I do not use the remote because you dont want it inside the tent and you have to physically turn it on anyway (temote does not turn on or off) after about a dozen uses it still operates well

The media could not be loaded. This is my second Smartmak Sauna Steam unit, and unfortunately, it’s been just as disappointing as the first one. The replacement was sent after my original unit failed to produce steam properly—but this new one is having the exact same issue.I only got about 8 uses out of it (which is slightly better than the first one), but now the steamer isn’t working at all. It powers on, but no steam is generated. For a product that markets itself around steam therapy, that’s a pretty big failure.At this point, I can’t recommend this sauna to anyone. It’s frustrating to spend money on something that stops working after just a handful of uses—especially when the same defect happens with a replacement unit. I expected better quality and reliability.
