Q: my hair is straight will this product add waves?

You can use this and other lighter conditioners and styling products to give waves to your hair if you have some slight texture but not if your stick straight. Look into the curly girl method, that’s how I got my 1c straight frizzy hair to turn into 2c/3a mermaid curls. Biggest tips: to squish conditioner into your hair upside down, detangle gently when wet and deep condition as often as you can with t”twist outs” to encourage and train curls. Good luck.

I've personally used it when my hair is dry to refresh my curls and I don't feel like wetting it with regular water. You can do both.

Yes based on labels and the research I did it is.
