I made this purchase because I have heard a lot about maca powder and its health benefits. I just recently went vegan and I am making smoothies a lot more than I used to and I was looking for a way to enhance my energy level more naturally than taking caffeine pills. I read the reviews on this product before I made the purchase and everyone, overwhelmingly, felt this was a great product so I decided to jump on it. Packaging-wise it's aesthetically appealing which is great for marketing and was one of the first things to draw me in. The package itself, however, could definitely be a bit better. I found that once it's open it's hard to reseal even though it's a resealable package. I spent at least thirty minutes trying to seal this bag up but it just wouldn't connect so I ended up putting it in a ziplock bag to keep fresh. The powder has a malt-like fragrance and taste which I found to be quite appealing. I wouldn't eat this on its own but it's amazing when added to a smoothie. I find that it also mixes well without clumping. Not only is this a clean brand of maca but the ONLY maca brand I buy! I'm a busy woman in my 40's and this helps me out a lot. I don't drink coffee so maca is my go to for energy and it also balances out my hormones and I definitely notice the difference. I feel great. I love making shakrs with almond or oatmilk with a dash of date syrup for a little sweetness. So glad I found this brand 🙌🏾 💓

I like the flavor it adds to my shakes and enjoy the extra energy it gives me. Also helps me have an appetite and had helped me to gain weight. Something i was looking for that was natural. On the flip side. My husband had the moon appetite and more energy effect. I'm 61. He's 71 and wet both are happy we found this product. Low dose is best for us. Taken in the morning for me. At night with my husband. He lost weight. Yay.

I love the energy this provides

I am very satisfied with this purchase. The product has a secured packaged, and was exactly as described. I like the smell/taste of it, it's light earthly aroma is really nice, and taste/mixes well with my drinks, which I usually mix in either a smoothie or coffee. I feel good when I consume this, and believe it's offering much benefits health wise with balancing my hormones, and giving added energy for the day. It was easy ordering, no problems and it arrived at the time it stated packaged securely. I will continue to order in the future.

Why in the world does it have a warning on the package? It says this product may contain lead! That doesn't sound good. It seems like a quality product, it's organic, but lead is a deal breaker.

I don't typically write reviews, however, this product is worth the time it takes to sit down and write one! My boyfriend and I have noticed a significant difference in our energy levels after ingesting this maca powder. I use one serving size (1 teaspoon) inside a smoothie (almond milk, one banana, acai powder, maca, chlorella, cocoa nibs, chia and flaxseed, water) and wow! what a difference the maca makes! I first tried this as soon as amazon delivered it, around evening time, and I was absolutely WIRED off the maca! My boyfriend and I both agreed that we cant take maca after a certain time of day because when we did, we were trying to cook clean and do the most at midnight because we felt so awake and energized! This product is important to me as a newly transitioned vegan because I value health so highly. I don't consume caffeine, so I feel so good knowing theres alternatives such as this that also pack in additional health benefits!! Would highly recommend.

Not the best tasting, but definitely not the worst. It is a little gritty, even when dissolved in boiling hot water. If you follow the recommended serving suggestion, adding coconut sugar and pure unsweetened chocolate, it tastes a little like a chocolate flavored coffee, but more... earthy. I've never really had a problem in the bow-chica-wow-wow department, but lately I have felt very low in my mood, which in turn affected my desire for intimacy. Within 2 days of taking the maca, I noticed I was less sullen, more playful (again) and interested in seeing my partner nude. Maca, so far has lived up to the hype.
