Always been my favorite. Pacific islander and native american Indian mixed hair and my son is half black. This works well for both textures. Smells good and depending on how much hair you have or how often you shower or if you share, may want to get more than one.

I’ve been using this brand since high school and it’s an amazing product , a little goes a long way , especially if you apply right out of the shower , I have fine wavy to curly hair type and this helps bring out my curls so much while giving the perfect amount of weight , shape , style , hold and natural mobility and movement , it’s a medium thick creamy conditioner and if you prefer your finer hair to feel more thick it’s gives a more manageable weight that allows your hair to hold up against the wind a bit more , smells great , leaves hair soft , and great price for the amount of product ,usually last me more than a month , I also have friends that use this as well and there hair is thicker than mine and they love it ✨🙌🏻🤍

This may be better for thicker hair. My hair is thin but curly. In all fairness, it does say for thick, defined, curly hair in the title on Amazon.I did knock 1 star off because the formula is so thick, it's too hard to get out of the bottle and you have to use a lot to get it through your hair. It felt like there was a residue on my hair.

I was nervous that this would be too much in my curly hair, or that it wasn't going to work. But this is a really great leave-in! It comes out thick but when you run it through your hair, it doesn't feel to heavy and my hair really soaks it in! It also feels a lot healthier too! Never had a bad experience with Shea Moisture products

It leaves my hair very soft

I was looking to an alternative to a much more expensive brand's curl milk that would leave my curls tamed and cute. This however left my hair with that more wet/greasey feeling some products can. My curls look great, but do not feel good. I will not repurchase, this product would be good if you don't mind heavier products on your hair but for me it is not a good fit.

I used to be a mall 'Santa'. My hair was a little salt and pepper so I had my hair bleached white. Eventually, I learned how to bleach it safely by myself. I haven't been a Santa Claus for several years now but I still bleach my hair. I think it looks good that way and I get lots of compliments. Of course, I use a 'blueing' conditioner periodically to keep the yellow out.But, a couple of years ago I found this product. I found that after washing my hair and before using a gel to style it, I can work in SheaMoisture Curl and Style Milk and it not only makes my hair a beautiful bright white, but it also makes it easier to style...even using a low temp hair dryer....to style it into shape before working in a little gel. It works so well for long white hair...and real beards...that I wrote to a large 'Mall Santa' providing company I formerly worked for and urged them to memo all of their more than 300 'Santa's with information about using the product. It smells great...coconut and hibiscus....and is great for your hair. Not sure but I would guess it would be nice for hair that's other than white, also. Try it!

This is my favorite curl cream. I have 5 girls with different hair textures and curls and this works for all of them. Doesn't make the hair crunchy. Smells amazing.
