Nice adaptor
I ordered 4 of these to use in various applications. Took a while to get here, but they arrived in good condition. They were individually wrapped. Tight fit on both ends, good product.

Coax to scanner BNC antenna connector
I have a couple of scanner radios that came with a telescoping antenna for use indoors. I wanted better reception, so I bought these connectors so that I can use coax cable (cable tv wire) from an outside antenna to the scanners. Best price I found and they work well.

F-pin to BNC adapter
Very easy to use without any tools. A very convenient method for quickly modifying a hookup. No loss in picture quality. The piece itself is well manufactured, solid and durable.

Decent Quality Connectors
These F-Female to BNC-Male connectors are of decent quality. They are not as good as the gold-plated connectors that Radio Shack sells for $7.50 each but they didn't cost close to that price. Beware of some of the connectors now coming out of China. Many of the connectors coming from China are now of poor quality and are being constructed with thin, cheap metal alloys with rough edges.Only beef with these is that I bought several of them for $1.49 each last week (an acceptable price) and now I see them being sold on Amazon for $3.58 each! What gives with that?

Critical specs missing
For those of you who are not Physicists.... know this. This adapter transfers ENERGY and this ENERGY has a Frequency.Under Energy Physics LAWS several odd things occur specific to a frequency or a range of frequencies.ONE.... of these odd things is named IMPEDANCE.There are TWO versions of F Type connectors, adapters and cables.1. 50 Ohm.2. 75 Ohm.For cable TV and Cable Modem the correct version is 75 Ohm.If this impedance is incorrect, there will be a huge loss in ENERGY transfer due to Frequency. This is why there are so many complaints about other versions of this type adapter and similar.Amazon DID NOT REQUIRE the seller to provide the TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS that are ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL.You tell me.... is this adapter 50 Ohm or 75 Ohm?For those of you who are a bit more ambitious or regard this message as some form of witch doctor opinion simply check out a professional version of a "similar" adapter from Amphenol. (BNC to F Type)Part number 242159 50 Ohm.Part number 242161 75 Ohm.You can research further among RF connection providers such as Switchcraft, and Pomona. You will find F Type adapters and cabling that are not 75 Ohm.Last but not least....There will ALWAYS be a loss in signal strength when ANY adapter or connector is used. The very worst of these type of adapters and connectors is ALWAYS those that are 90 degree.(RF energy HATES corners)EXPECT some power level loss and signal degradation when using this connector.Complaining will not alter physics law.I did not give this item 2 stars because it does not work properly, I give it 2 stars because it does not provide crucial information.1. Impedance.

Does what it suppose to!
I bought a thin coaxial cable to put it under the carpet. It appeared to be that that cable had wrong outputs. So I bought these adapters. Works perfectly.

Product Simply Works as Advertised
I needed to connect a long run of RG6 to a video camera... the camera has a BNC connection, while the RG6 uses a standard TV style F connection... this adapter simply works as advertised, so I would buy again if I ever need another adapter
