Colour:Red These handmade, Fair Trade and eco friendly sari notepads are made by a small family business in Rajasthan, India. These notepads have approximately 50 sheets of unlined khadda paper and the pages are perforated so the pages can be easily removed. Khadda is recycled cotton that has been left over from the massive garment industry in India. The paper may have a splash of petals or may be an off-white colour; each style of paper is stunning and very easy to write on. It is handmade and doesn't contain any chemicals as we use only unbleached cotton. The paper is made by charity in rural Rajasthan that promotes women's education and their social standing in the rural villages. We are a Fair Trade company and regularly visit our suppliers to ensure the highest standards are met. We quality control all our products to ensure that you only receive the best. We pay our suppliers 50% upfront and send money to them whenever they need it. We never send anything back or not pay for damaged goods. We use a bonus system for the staff and they can earn up to 5% of our total order value which can give them an extra month's wages per year. The saris come from Varanasi, one of the most religious cities in the World and a centre of excellence for sari making. We use new saris as we cannot guarantee the cleanliness of recycled saris and cannot always get the correct styles and designs. These notepads have been expertly crafted using a mixture of contemporary and traditional methods and the pages have been hand bound and are ideal for travelling and perfect for just doodling. Due to the handmade nature of these products colour and designs may slightly vary but loveliness comes as standard.
