This is the third set of hydraulic struts for these cabinets, including OEM. Previous sets fatigued after a few years each (it's been 13 years since the initial installation by Lowes). Lowes replaced the OEM struts, but told me that the cabinet manufacturer was now using a different type of hinge. However, they were able to acquire a replacement identical to the OEM struts. And like the OEM, the replacements also fatigued. Perhaps the 3rd time is the charm...time will tell.I took a shot in the dark with these, as I wasn't sure how strong a strut I should buy. But I went with the weakest (60N), because the doors they are intended to open don't weight very much. They are perfect, although while the old struts opened the doors 90 degrees, the new ones open them 110 degrees. At least that gives me some leeway if and when these struts start to fatigue also.The reason for 4 stars, versus 5, is the installation. I'd hoped to use the brackets that came with the old struts, but the ball joints on them were too large for the sockets on the new struts. I just installed the new brackets using the same holes as the old ones. This is where it gets tricky.The instructions for the new struts show that installation is simply a push and click operation. There appeared to be a spring within the socket that served the purpose of locking the socket onto the ball. However, it became apparent that "push and click" was not going to work no matter hard I pushed. It turns out that what I initially thought were springs actually were cotter pins, which you need to REMOVE BEFORE you install the struts on the brackets. Then you need to reinsert the pins in the holes and clip them into the circumferential groove around the base of the socket. This procedure can be found nowhere in the instructions supplied with the struts. Furthermore, half of the pins must be installed on the backsides of the sockets, which can be difficult. A flashlight would be useful...and an extra pair of hands.Once installed, however, they work like a champ. I simply lift the top-hinged door about 1/3 of the way, and the struts softly lift the door the rest of the way. The 60N was exactly what I needed for this application, although if you're lifting larger/heavier doors, you may need to upgrade to 80N or more. My doors are 30"W x 15"H.

The instructions are lacking. I'm guessing that there is a language barrier or poor translation. They are budget struts, so you must expect cut corners somewhere; however, the build quality seems good, especially for being budget. I'm hoping that the cut came from translating the instructions.What the instructions seem to have left out is that the retaining pin needs to be removed when fitting it over the ball joint. It is easily removed and it's easy to put back in once on the ball joint. I was trying to brute force it on at first since that's what the instructions indicated.I have only used one for a shelf/cabinet combo that I built of solid wood. It was also a gift, so I'm not sure what kind of use it is getting. I would hope if it failed, I'd be informed.I'd definitely recommend it.

Great struts and even better customer service! Had a issue with one strut and was reimbursed for the one so I didn't have to uninstall all of them for a refund or replacement. I am purchasing more and would recommend this product!

Bought 150N struts. Instructions are completely wrong. Also, the paper instructions and the instructions printed on the bag are different. Both of which are wrong...Most importantly, the little brackets that the pistons attach to are too weak. They bend from the force of the pistons. These are useless unless you buy your own brackets separately.

Pistons worked great.... However the ball joints on the brackets didnt fit and where a huge hassel to get on. Also the bracket/hinges are extremely cheap and instantly bent under the force of the piston.

The 200N pistons require so much force to actuate that the brackets bend before the piston moves.

These were just what we needed to get our rather heavy kitchen cupboard doors behaving themselves. Easy to install, and worked like a charm

Easy to fit and works well. Bought 4 for cupboards but they are pretty strong so in hindsight, I could have just bought 2.

The struts themselves seem very good quality but the ball fixing bracket thingy is not strong enough for the 200n version at least. It is bending and breaking already.I made contact with the company who did reply quickly but didnt really make sense... hahah....

Die vier Federn haben Einzug in zwei selbstgebauten Holzkisten gehalten um den jeweiligen Deckel aufrecht zu halten, bzw. das Öffnen zu erleichtern.Für mich machen die Federn einen hochwertigen, stabilen Eindruck. Die Kolben lassen sich gut und ohne hakeln bewegen. Eine Montageanleitung liegt auch dabei. Bei dieser hat es ein wenig gedauert, bis ich schlau draus geworden bin - allerdings bin ich auch kein Handwerker.Was mir nicht ganz so gut gefällt, ist, dass es keine "Bremse" beim Öffnen gibt, egal wie rum ich die Federn montiere. Wird aber auch nicht so beworben, also kann ich da nix abziehen.Fazit, einfach zu montieren (selbst für Handwerkslegastheniker wie mich), stabil und kein hakeln.Habe den Kauf daher nicht bereut.

Haben einen Schrank (Pax von Ikea) auf unserem Schrank quer gelegt und brauchten Gasdruckfedern, die die Tür im 90ºWinkel offenhalten. Das Gewicht der Tür liegt bei rund 16kg. Probierten es zuerst mit 150NGasdruckfedern aus 2stk., das hielt nicht. Dann habe ich diese mit 250N bestellt und zur Sicherheit gleich 4davon. Haben die 150N Federn ausgetauscht und es hält jetzt die ganze schwere lange Tür bei 90ºoffen. Super!Auch die Montage ist nach der Anleitung gut durchzuführen und alle erforderlichen Teile sind dabei. Tolles Produkt.

Leider ist die Materialstärke viel zu dünn und es verbiegt sich alleine von der Kraft des Dämpfers. Jetzt habe ich ganz viele Löcher in der Kiste und die Erkenntnis, das dieses Konstrukt eine Gemeinheit ist.

12 St. von diesen Dingern bestellt. Ob die Dämpfer was taugen, kann ich nicht sagen, denn gleich beim ersten Test ist schon gleich der erste Kugelkopf so verbogen, dass die Schranktür nicht mehr schließt!Btw: Die Tür wiegt ca. 3kg, 150N sollten eigentlich ca. 15 kg tragen können - ohne dass die Bleche der Kugelköpfe verbiegen!!!

Habe mir um wenig Geld eine gebrauchte Truhe gekauft, wo der Deckel nur draufgelegt war, was mir eindeutig zu umständlich war. Mit 2 von den Gasdruckdämpfern und geeigneten Kistenscharnieren, habe ich sie nun zu einer praktischen Brennholzkiste umgebaut. Die Dämpfer leisten mir hervorragende Dienste, da ich ja jetzt mit nur einer Hand den Deckel öffnen kann. Habe damit eine gute Entscheidung getroffen und somit eine klare Kaufempfehlung von mir und natürlich 5 Sterne

200N gasdruckdämpfer, die sehr qualitativ hochwertig sind kein billig schrott,der preis ist der hammer, ich suche schon sehr lange aber solchen preis hab ich noch nicht gefunden.über die Haltbarkeit kann ich leider noch keine Auskunft geben.Als Nachtrag: hab nochmal welche bestellt da die wirklich super sind und ich diese auch wo anders sie nutze

Guten Tag!Vorab: Ich bin gelernter Schreiner/Tischler und wollte den Klappenbeschlag für eine Küche benützen.Wo liegt das Problem: Die Kugel der Montagevorrichtungen passt nicht in das Lager des Dämpfers. Lt. der dürftigen Beschreibung sollte die Kugel mit einem schönen "Klick" einrasten. Schön und gut. Ich hab es nicht einmal mit einer Rohrzange geschafft. Natürlich hab ich jetzt Bohrungen in meinem Kasten, die dort nicht hin gehören. Und vorne weg: Sollte man den Artikel nicht schon innerhalb ca. eines Monats zurück gegeben haben, kann man dann auch noch mit Amazon -Kundenservice telefonieren.

prodotto usabile solo per bellezza non idoneo a svolgere quello per cui viene fatto, staffe che si piegano troppo facilmente e pistoni che perdono gas e si ammorbidiscono subito, è il 2 che prendo e mi hanno dato lo stesso problema ora prenderò l ultimo e vediamo se è meglio

I braccetti sono robusti, mentre le piastre ad L tendono a piegarsi, specialmente come ne mio caso se il pistone è da 250 N.Forse era meglio montarne 2 da 100NPer il fissaggio del braccetti al pernio della staffa, non viene indicato nelle istruzioni, va tolto il gancio a scatto e rimesso dopo aver fatto entrare il braccetto nella staffa, come visibile nelle foto allegate.

peccato perché effettivamente il pistone ha un ottima forza ma le staffe di ancoraggio si piegano e rendono inutilizzabile il prodotto.Ho sostituito il prodotto con versione 100N installando due (una per lato) invece che una sola per sportello

Ho comprato questo per provare, ho avuto gli pistone di un altro marca che duravano niente! Speriamo che questi tengono di più, prezzo molto buono! Vi tengo aggiornato, lo montato adesso e fino adesso sono sodisfatto
