Decent but you get what you pay for
This is a decent light strip that will work well for accent lighting but might be disappointing if you want specific colors, or white, or want it to be fairly bright.Setup was a bit frustrating because you need to have a more powerful USB power source than your stock cheap USB power plugs that many of us have laying around. After searching I was able to get it to work but it took some time to figure out that was even the issue. Would be nice if the instructions were more clear on this point but after figuring that out setup was smooth and Siri voice controls work perfectly. I have yet to figure out how to get it set up in Alexa or Google home though.I find the light strip to be a bit on the dim side and that color reproduction is only so-so and have yet to find a "white" setting that doesn't look odd. These issues might not be a problem for you depending on where you plan to put the strip and how important specific colors are for you.At this price though, these issue are pretty minor and as long as you know the limitations of this strip, I think you will likely be happy with it, just remember that you are getting what you pay for and no more.

After setup hiccups, it's terrific!
The build quality is high, the lights are bright, and the homekit control is just awesome. Most single bulbs that do the same thing require a hub and/or cost almost twice as much as this cool little light strip. It took me about an hour to set up, however, due to connection issues. I ended up having to go through the Troubleshooting guide line by line, and I still am not sure why it suddenly decided to connect, when the 20+ other times I tried it failed one way or another to do so. (Do make sure you're using a powerful USB transformer, though; anything with ~1.0A output does not seem to work)Now that it's up and working, I want about fifty of these things for my home! Much fun.Edit: Out of six different USB transformers tested, only one of them consistently works with the device. It's very finicky about power requirements, it seems. Dropping 1 star. Still a fun gadget once you get it working.

Update
The product looks decent but it just can't connect to my Homekit or the shaper app. I tried every possible solution from their trouble shooting guides. I emailed the company and I haven't receive any response. This thing has to go back.UPDATE:I received a replacement and it is working great. I was contacted by the support team and they apologize for not replying sooner. Make sure you use a USB power updater (or power source) of a least 5W.

Time will tell.
Took a little bit to get it hooked up to my Apple Homekit. Sometimes Apple Homekit (siri) can find it to turn it off and on and sometimes not. Occasionally blinks for a few minutes and is only remedied if I dim it to 50% power. I've tried different power sources but still same problem. This might just be a little hiccup in everything. Very bright, have it behind my bed and looks awesome. White light has a bit of a blue tint to it, but that's fine. Apple Homekit and most smart lights can only approximate colors but never exact.Update: Problems still persist. Very unreliable. If I had know of these issues I would have gotten a Lutron Caseta lamp dimmer and a basic led strip. Would send back for replacement if I was able to.

Doesn't work with Android Yet
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The title of this product said it would work with Amazon Alexa so I assumed that meant it would also work with android even though it's main feature is listed as Apple products. Well, I was wrong, it doesn't fully work with android yet but i've been in contact with the manufacturer and they stated that they are still working on it but it should be coming. With that in mind, i'm going to keep this light strip as it's exactly what I want for my computer case and for now I don't mind having just all white lights. Seems to be a good product though so I'd recommend it for everyone with Apple devices just don't get it (yet) if you only have android devices.

Awesome Lights
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is such a cool product. I purchased this for my daughters room not realizing it was compatible with Apple HomeKit. When I unboxed it I found the instructions to set it up using Apple Siri. I am now a hero dad! My daughter thinks it is really fun to change the color of her desk (see video). The set up was very easy using the instructions. The app lets you set millions of different colors, brightness etc. Now my son thinks he needs one for his room.

Bright and easy to connect.
These were much higher quality then other LED light strips I have setup for behind a TV (bias lighting). There were more LEDs per inch, and they were covered/sealed giving them a study feel. They were also bright, and with the ability to be dimmed they offer the best of all worlds for the setup I was looking for.Connecting was easy, I used my iPhone home icon and jumped on WiFi. I cleaned the back of my TV and stuck on the LEDs, I had to press down again on the bottom of my TV once, but they stuck after the second time.

Doesn’t work half the time. Difficult to pair, and always disconnects within a day or so.
Does not work most of the time. When I can get them to pair, it works, but it almost always disconnects from HomeKit within a day and won’t reconnect. I’ve tried the reset, and sometimes that works and sometimes it doesn’t. I even went out and bought a new router and set it to 2.4 ghz only, and it still didn’t work. Do not recommend.
