Finally a magnetic knife holder that actually hold the knives!! You know, rather than dropping them at 3.17AM, scaring the living daylight out of the household members. You can feel the pull of the magnet as you return or remove a knife from it. As you can see in the photo, it comfortably holds my 7 knives, a steel and a carving fork.Installing it was really easy. It has a thin metallic backplate that you remove and attach to the wall with screws, or as I did with a (very) strong mounting tape. Then the magnet itself is simply put over the plate and held in place magnetically.The case around the magnet itself looks really sleek and the silicon coating helps protect your knives.It is a bit on the pricier side compared to many others, but in my opinion, it's worth every penny.

Didn’t want to screw into cupboards so used Gorilla heavy duty mounting tape. Said put tape on vertically so did little strips and left for 24 hours. Believe me this isn’t going anywhere. Magnet very strong and knives don’t mark as silicone rather than metal surface. Only reason 4 stars is rather pricey

Easy to fix. I used 3m heavy duty tape which has worked well. I like that it has a silicone covering although be careful when putting very sharp knives on to avoid cutting the silicone.All in all, very impressed.

We fixed to wall with Scotch - fix extreme mounting tape ,instead of drilling tiles .The magnetic strength is excellent. & it looks smart.

This knife holder was very easy to install. The black rubber coating gives it a great look and feel and unlike some knife holders you don't have to wrestle the knives away from the magnets. And although they suggest its only for six knives I use it to store 10! The only downside is that if you are not carful putting your knives up you can cut the rubber, I did once but have been more careful since, so not really an issue.

This is genius. It costs more than some others ones, and I bought it as a treat for my new prep area, but it's wonderful. As well as being sleek, it's both subtle and drinks in the light, like a weight on an elastic sheet. It is extremely magnetic, stronger than any of the others i've had, and grips the knives very firmly. The mounting is also very cool. A metal plate on the back comes off, and you scrrw it to the wall. The back of the rack is heavy magnets, which then clings to the plate very strongly. I love this.

Great works as it should. Easy to install on tiles and has a strong hold. I have a set of 8 knifes all sizes fits them all. I like the lack cover as my old one went rusty. This should not only time will tell
