Essentials of Crisis Counseling and Intervention 1st Edition

This book is very useful in understanding crisis and how to handle it. I use it to improve my service as a hospital social worker.

Good book came quickly

This is one of the nicest trauma crisis books I have seen. It is not an easy access like others, but useful as a reference. Information appears to be current.

The book covers all of the basics plus some! It is a must-have for helping professionals.

I took a chance on this book not knowing what it would entail. It is very insightful and I encourage anyone who is in a mental health profession to read it! It is expensive but worth it. I received this book damaged in the corner which was a little irritating I definitely recommend different packaging to protect the book in future orders.

One of the better books for counseling in crisis situation. Well put together, more of a guide than detailed text.
