This cable is incredible and it stops charging at 100% so it doesn’t strain the battery however it is a bit annoying to connect to the phone inside its case it’s quite snug and does sometimes fall out of the charging port my recommendation is if your going to get one of these make sure the space for your charging port on your phone case is wide enough to fit apart from that it’s fantastic and super fast charging

The lead looks sturdy and well made, but when I plug it in for charging, after a minute or so the battery charging symbol on my iphone goes out, so I simply cannot charge my phone with this lead. I've tried all my various charging plugs, Apple and other brands, with no success. I've never experienced this with McDodo before. Has Apple primed its most recent iPhone and iPad software to reject other brands? Does anyone know?

First the good news. I have every confidence in leaving my iPhone charging overnight as I know the cable will automatically stop charging by itself.The bad news is it seems to randomly go to trickle charge at 26%, 56% or other % well before 95%. Which basically means I have to keep checking, unplugging and plugging cable back in again to obtain a full charge. Shame really as the concept is good. Just the randomness trickle charge kicking in let’s it down.

This charger doesn’t not live up to the high scoring reviews. It also gets very hot so I will not be using this charger for any length of time. Lights are not a reliable indicator compared to the battery % either! Very disappointed.

It changes colour when charging and turns power off when battery is full. main cause of battery failure in mobile phones is leaving them plugged into a charger all the time like overnight.

bought for the mrs she gets through leads like no tomorrow. ( iphone leads are very inferior to these ones)This has way outlasted any other lead she has haf

Had this for 3 months and loved it as charged quickly and seemed sturdy but I noticed the part that goes in my phone was slightly wonky today and now won’t charge 🤷🏼‍♀️Have ordered another one, charges my phone but not my boyfriends. Can’t seem to contact seller.

I brought this product as my previous chargers haven’t lasted that long. I’ve heard good things about this brand however after the first charge it stopped working. I’ve tried various USB ports and the phone still charges on any other working cable. Although this specific cable could just be an outlier it’s now a pain to source a new cable. I’m awaiting a refund.
