I love this product
I love this product. It is relatively cheap and does a good job at holding plants... and it looks good as well. When the box arrives open it carefully and then untwist the twist ties that hold the product together for shipping (don't cut them). Set them aside. I also needed a hammer. Look for the directions and once you find them... throw them away. You can't use them anyway... they make no sense. Look at the picture on Amazon of the assembled product instead. This comes in three sections. The little round feet on the product go on the floor... that is section one. The bottom rod of section two needs to be tapped into the nut-hole welded on the bottom of the center rod of section one (hence the hammer to tap it in place.) The top piece then goes on top of one and two. The pieces easily fit into the sleeves welded to the side of the rods. Two loose rods go along the bottom in the back and also fit into the sleeves. I used the twist ties to hold the rods in place in the sleeves. If you don't do that they pop back out. If you are not mechanically inclined and can visualize the product put together and can see from the photo how it is supposed to look once it is done find someone who can do that. It took me about 2 minutes to put this together (my wife tells me it is a gift I have). According to the reviews others (who apparently can't visualize the 3-d product assembled in their minds) simply can't figure it out. Also... It wobbles a bit until you set the plants on it. There are 6 levels. We have 5 large pots and three small ones (3 on one one level) and it is great. Also set the planter where you want it before you put the pots on it. I would not try and move this after I had pots on it.

Not super-sturdy, but functional and nice
Product arrive on time. No issues with seller. As for the stand itself, well....I like it, but it isn't super sturdy, in fact as I was carefully removing from the box, one of the metal ivy leaves fell off. Even if I had smaller plants that wouldn't disguise the missing piece, it was not enough of a big deal to send it back. I don't think anyone would notice if I didn't mention it and point to where it fell from. I just mention that in case someone else has the same problem. I knew it would be better for small plants, but I have large plants with lots of leaves. Of the 6 steps, I only use 4. It looks very full and I'm pleased how it looks in the room. I'll try to post a pic if anyone is interested. Assembly is intuitive, i.e. you have to guess from the 2 or 3 illustrations provided as instructions (no actual directions) It may be hard to tell from pictures on this site, but there are stabilizing bars between some of the sections and they don't attach permanently, so if you try to move the stand, they come apart, making it even less sturdy. I suggest wrapping a small piece of duck tape or anything that will keep it from separating from the small collar it fits into. I used pieces of a rubber band.

The Indoor Gardener's Space Solution
The media could not be loaded. Β I love this plant stand. Notice in the video, the brackets I mention are not shown in the still pictures provided at the top of the product page. I don't know why that is, but you will definitely need to install the brackets. I only have four orchids on it right now, but can put six on it. If you have any keikis you'd like to share, let me know :)The package does not include a picture of the item, but does include line drawings posing as assembly instructions. Someone went to great lengths to demonstrate the little bitty Phillips screws on the stand, but didn't bother including all the shelves - I could only make out five. I reckon anyone who could decipher the instructions wouldn't need them anyway. The little bitty screws are pre-installed. You may need to adjust them. I only needed to adjust a couple. Anyway, the instructions are useless, but a little thought and patience are all you really need to assemble it.I searched the B&M stores locally and couldn't find anything like this. The plant stands had only two or three shelves and were ridiculously expensive. The garden centers didn't have anything like this, either. I don't know what store would carry them, so if you're looking for something like this, go ahead and click "Add to Cart" and save yourself some hassle.

Not hard to assemble if you know what you bought
A few reviews said it's hard to assemble but it's actually relatively easy if you understand it's a rotating staircase stand.First, throw away the instruction sheet which is completely useless. There are only a few pieces, so spread them out and you will know approximately how they go up on each other. Pieces with flat bottom legs will be at the bottom and pieces with round ends point up at top. There are some nuts already on you need to take out first and screw them back after putting all pieces together. Build from the bottom piece with the lowest staircase steps, put another piece up and until the last one at top. That's it.It took me 15 minutes from unpacking to get it done. It's not made for tough job but that's what you have paid for.Anyway, it's sturdy enough that I have put SIX watered 8-inch clay pots on it.There are 7 legs in circle, it's not going to be easy to make it fall, espeically after you putting some weights (pots) on it.As long as you don't put it in high traffic area or having cats jumping up and down on it, it should hold up fine.

The picture doesn't do the stand justice
This stand is really nice once you take the time to actually put it together. The instructions aren't very helpful at all. It's actually just one sheet of paper with no wording, only pictures. So this is definitely not for somebody who is impatient and doesn't want to take the time to figure out how to put it together. As far as time, I had it put together in about 20 minutes and the only reason it took that long is because I had one piece inverted. It comes in 3 interlocking pieces and doesn't require any tools and the end product is a pretty sturdy plant stand. I really like it and I would recommend it to others, but like I said, you just have to take your time initially to kind of get an idea of how it all fits together. But once you do that, it's a snap! Also, the stand is round, which I think adds to its beauty. In the picture the frame looks sort of squarish but it's not.

Four Stars
Would have liked it a bit sturdier, but otherwise, it's beautiful and works.

I like this plant stand
I like this plant stand. It took a little while to assemble since there were only 2 diagrams but no instructions. It probably would be too fragile if there are young kids or dogs around.

Great focal point for any room.
Love it! The leaf green stand blends in perfectly with my plants making it a nice focal point in the room. Everyone who sees it for the first time comments how great it looks.
