We drink a lot of coffee in our house and have tried a lot of different gadgets and methods - this has to be my favourite. I have always liked using coffee pod machines, though, this now is my favourite way of making coffee. Of course it takes longer than instant coffee and the coffee pods but i think its worth it. The coffee tastes rich, fills the kitchen with that homely coffee smell and just feels satisfying preparing it on the hob. The actual maker is made from a high quality aluminium which is light, so easy to move around and pour from. This 9 cup holds a lot which is a bonus so you can have quite a lot on the go for people to take cups from. Really really impressed with this product.

Back at Spain these are the type of coffee maker we use to have. Since move to the UK we were using an electric filter one which was a present. Although faster than this, the flavor is far away from the coffee you archive whit the Savisto.It is simple to use, make a real hot coffee and easy to clean and store. So far, no problem with the sealing or pouring coffee to the cups.If you are unfamiliar with this kind of Coffe Maker, be aware that the size of the cup is relate with espresso shots, no tea cup!.Finally, the price. More than fair and similar at the one back at home.If you like real coffee, buy it. You would not regret it.

I have a Bialetti, and have been using for ages. I decided to get this one due to the peice difference. Waiting near the hob for ages the thing steams but no coffee comes out. Tried 3 times and wasted good coffee, time and energy, no coffee, really annoying.

I bought this to replace the one that wore out years ago... Electric filter machines just aren't the same! This is excellent quality - nice finish to the metal makes it easier to clean/shinier than my old one. The fact that it came with a replacement filter is a real bonus... As for the coffee itself, I noticed another reviewer complained about having 'waited for ages' with nothing happening. Being used to speedy kettles and instantly-filling filter machines I'd forgotten how long this takes to brew (especially having bought a 9-cup version) but also how much the wait was worth it! Wonderful coffee - this size fills two large, regular cups - and, as others have said, the aroma fills the house. Great purchase for the price, excellent service for the money... Use up your instant coffee before you buy this as you'll never want to drink it again!!

This is a replacement pot as my last one was dulled from putting it through the dishwasher......handy hint -DO NOT PUT YOUR COFFEE POT THROUGH THE DISHWASHER.......I get two decent mugs of coffee from this pot ...... as ever there is a knack to pouring spill free...a knack I have not yet quite mastered.... quality as described, no dinks or dings on arrival...prompt delivery....came with spares!.....it percolates your coffee.....

I never really thought myself as a big coffee drinker in that I used to just always drink instant coffee due to convenience and ease. However, my friend has introduced me to one of these espresso makers and I am so glad they did as you can really taste the difference! The coffee is so much richer and tastier and there is something really satisfying in preparing it in one of these makers. Its much easier to use than i initially thought. I would never go back to instant coffee now

I have used coffee machines before and although tasty there is something really satisfying in having this being prepared on your stove - the aromas, the smells, the style of real Italian coffee can't be beaten. It fills my kitchen with the smell of coffee and makes me feel like being in a really nice coffee shop. Its made from sturdy aluminium which is light and easy to use. The lids sits securely in place thought isn't at all difficult to remove. The handle stays cool enough so when moving it from the stove it isn't too hot. Really impressed.

I had to return this coffee pot the following day due to it not being fit for purpose.It worked ok making the coffee but on pouring it out. 50% of it dribbled from the spout down the front of the pot andall over the work surface - creating a total mess and wasting so much it.I was immediately given a full refund and I'm now on the hunt for a better quality one.
