Arccos Golf GPS Tracking System Not Ready - Sensors Fail After One Month
This review is for using the Arccos system for 9 rounds (one month). Product installation was pretty easy and 13 of the 14 sensors fit well on my grips. The putter sensor has a different shape (pear shaped) and it hangs over the putter grip (my grip is a super stroke 2.0). This causes the sensor to get snagged on the golf bag, loosen and potentially fall off. Arccos suggestion was to "wrap electrical tape around the sensor" to secure it to the grip. I thought their suggestion was weak, it appears they realize the putter sensor is poorly designed but they do not have a solution.I was using Arccos with the iphone 5s and the apple watch. No problem finding the course I was playing. 90% of the time the system worked very well and was playing the correct hole. Occationally, the system missed a shot or assigned a shot to a hole previously played. The putter sensor again was the weak link most of the time. On every hole you seem to have to adjust how many times you have used the putter. My main problems started the 8 round using the Arccos system. I started playing a round and soon realized that my driver, 5 iron, and gap wedge were not registering shots. I finished the round (with incomplete data) and took my clubs home. I tried to "repair" the 3 clubs that were not working. The clubs would not "repair" with the sensor. Arccos states you will get "40-50 rounds" before the batteries need to be replaced. So I contacted Arccos customer service and asked them to send me three new sensors and/or batteries.Arccos told me to try and "wake a sensor from deep sleep, flip the club upside down (sensor pointing to the ground) and hold for about 10 seconds. Then flip the club back to its normal position (sensor pointing to the sky) and hold for about 10 seconds. Repeat 2-3×. Then try to pair that sensor." After trying this flipping exercise the sensors still did not work. Arccos suggested that I replace the batteries. That was when I decided that I would return the system. The main reasons for returning it are:1) Putter sensor is poorly designed (hangs over putter grip).2) Sensors fail after just one month of use.3) Poor customer service from Arccos (not willing to replace sensors). In conclusion, this system is not inexpensive. It costs $300 (on sale). At that price I expect it to work. A sensor should not need to be secured to the putter grip using electrical tape!I understand that things can fail, but when they do I expect a company to stand behind the product. Arccos does not.Since I was over the 30 day trial I had to utilize Amazon to facilitate the return of the Arccos GPS Tracking System. Thanks Amazon!!If they ever fix the bugs, redesign the putter sensor, or lower the price, I may try it again. Right now it is definitely not worth $300.

Worst golf product purchase I have made in 15 years ...
Worst golf product purchase I have made in 15 years of golf! I opened the box and and 10 of the 14 sensors would not pair. I later found out that 10 batteries were dead. I bought and installed 14 new batteries and the sensors finally paired. Ive played 13 rounds of golf in just over a month (thats why they give you a 30 days return) And some sensors still wont register golf shots. I replaced the batteries again and now some sensors wont even pair.I contacted Arccos golf and got a email with a troubleshooting guide and asking me to switch the batteries. I e-mailed back and I'm still waiting for a response! I still cant believe Callaway has their name on the box.Save a $100 and buy a Game Golf!

It would be nice if it could track swing speeds
Batteries drain out quickly and sometimes misses shots. It would be nice if it could track swing speeds. Also if they can make club recommentions while playing.

After very easy set up
After very easy set up, Played 4 rounds with the system. Seamless execution. Very little changes needed. Followed instruction on how to carry clubs is important. Adding/ changing strokes for putts or penalties is intuitive. I cN see how this can improve my gsme going forward with better knowledge of yardage for my clubs. I would recommend to anyone looking for accurate data.
