Does the job be fine for small deployments, make sure to use good preferably shielded cat6 cable
I tried it with a few cat5E cables i had and and some cat5 couplers. I could get about 60FT once i added the 3rd ~25FT piece it stopped working. I don't think that this is a defect in the item but just losses in junctions and using unshielded cat5E cable. From what I have seen i don't think the rating is wrong i think if you want the full 60 meters it needs to be one solid wire, which it should be anyhow, and i would say ideally for something like this it would be a shielded cat6 or cat6A cable.I connected this from my PC to a TV and was able to get at least the advertised 108P I had it up to 1088P and 4K but my TV is not 4K but still worked and had good video. I have access to a bit newer equipment at work so may try there too, if i find anything more out i will update review. I am thinking this could have application in some rooms we have computers tied to projectors, etc.

Somewhat impressed so far. Not terrible.
These are pretty cool. Especially if you use a projector or you want your tv to look clean on the wall with your dvd, cable box , or game system hidden away. There is still one wire from box to box but that’s better than the rats nest I had before. I saw a few times where the picture lagged a tiny bit the first day I had them connected but it hasn’t since , could have been the cable box. Besides that they work well, and are so much less expensive than the wireless ones I was looking at.

Good buy! Worth more than it costs
Excellent investment! Great for avoiding running clunky wires from media box to tv or running excess HDMI through wall. I used this instead of replacing a broken HDMI cable in my walls and the results were better than expected, with no interference nor noticeable resolution degradation.I bought a second one for having in my Cables drawer since they feel like a staple as soon as I bought it. Good cable management and some double sided tape or command mounting strips/tabs and I ended up with a polished near professional install look.

Good Value
I bought this to display mostly data to a second monitor. It does that great. Not as good for pushing HD video out as I found it to have annoying dropout. But for the price and for what I bought it for it works great!

Spend more, get more.
Picture quality over cat5e at 169 ft was not clear. Fuzzy and soft.I use this unit to replace a different brand that had been in place for nearly five years with clear clarity.$35 is not a bad price but don't expect to read any small fonts. Might be good to transmit some video where detail is not of the upmost importance.

Product quality seems to have gone down hill
I purchased one of these extenders from this company once and it works great. I needed another extender and decided to get a second one from the same place thinking it would work just as well. The extender I received this time looks different than the previous one, which should have been my first clue. This extender just would not work right. I could only get very low resolutions using it. No matter what kind of hdmi or cat6 cables I used, and I tried several different ones.

Zero quality loss
These do what they say, hdmi over cat5, picture quality seems fine, can't tell any difference. Definitely give these a try for long distance runs, I got 150 feet with no issues, might try farther!
