LED Light Strip, iHaper Smart WiFi LED Light Strip(6.6ft / 2m), Dimmable, Color Changing, Remote Control Support Siri,Apple Homekit On 2.4 GHz Network [Energy Class A+]

The media could not be loaded.  Nice set of lights, took about 30 secs to connect using the app which was simple enough.The lights were very responsive when choosing a colour and adjusting the brightness.I first connected these to a power bank and I noticed a slight flicker once in a while and the colours wouldn’t change but then I connected using my iPad charger and everything worked perfectly.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the packaging and the item itself. It looked well built and had clear instructions which made it easy to pair with the Home app on my phone. Sadly, that's where the good points end. Plugged into an extension lead that has a couple of USB ports, the light strip lit up, but not the warm white it was supposed to. There was also a slight flicker which I put down to the port, so I switched to a dedicated USB plug (18W). The light was much brighter and the flickering stopped. Step in the right direction, but as soon as I adjusted the brightness it began flickering again. I tried going back to the original port but turns out it can't draw enough power to power the LEDs and to connect to HomeKit.Back to the dedicated plug, I tried a few colours. I have presets for the warm white I prefer and all the Hue bulbs I have can reproduce this colour, but the iHaper LEDs always have a blue tint. Again with Hue, red is red (even if the bulb looks pink) but with this light strip, red was pink and green was blue.

The product works as advertised. The LED colours are good for the price range and the homekit integration a big plus. Connecting was very easy. I got two of them as the first one was Dead on arrival, but contacting their support team on Facebook resolved the issue and sent me a new one within a day. 5Stars for the responsiveness and help they provided.

Great, works great with homeKit on HomePod.

Bought. these for an upstairs room and have had nothing but problems with connections even close to the router and with extenders running. need to restart them at least 10 times per day. i have a few sets off koogeek in the same room working perfectly. Pay the extra few pounds and get koogeek.

Loooooove this little piece of kit!!!!!! Great sturdy connections and a lead that is easily long enough to suffice. Unfortunately it's not compatible with Alexa yet but I have been assured that Alexa compatibility is on the cards in the near future. Dear easy to control either via the online switch or via the app. Great bargain at this price and really does reduce eyestrain when watching tv (purple is best) highly recommended.

Getting fed up with these issues with Koogeek and iHaper. Even dedicated a 2.4g network to it and it still doesn’t connect. Pay a bit more and get a Philips Hue that works all the time.
