Telescoping Marshmallow Fire Roaster Sticks 4 Set

These sticks are just what we wanted. Lightweight and compact. However, for anyone interested, they no longer have the "color-coding" feature, at least from the seller I bought it from. They are just a plain stick with wooden handle. I still want to keep these as they are great and are a great price, but I wanted to let people know so they aren't surprised, as I was.The seller sent the following information:"We're sorry, but we have discontinued the color coded handles. The reason for that is: The fork with the color coded plastic does not use a food grade stainless steel. The steel on that fork was a poor grade steel. So our new fork that you received is a better quality fork, cost us more but uses food grade stainless steel which is safe for cooking.Unfortunately, we are unable to change the picture or any descriptions on our Amazon listing because our listing was created too long ago. We hate to create a new listing because we will lose all of our reviews. We would have to start over.No one really seems to notice or care, as we get very few concerns about the colored handle.However, it you wish to return those, let us know and we will give you return instructions."

I got these more for the design that is uniform. I wasn't a fan of the multi-colored sets. I wish there was 1 more included.

Guilty as charged. I love a good smore in the woods. These were perfect for my last camping trip. Also cooked hotdogs on them as they were awesome! Great for kids and adults alike. Will never go camping without them again. The retractable feature makes them easy to store and easy to clean.

My sister requested these as a gift. Her previous telescoping sticks had finally worn out. These are great to take camping/backpacking. They are light weight and compact, until you need them, then they telescope out to become a great marshmallow stick for campfires. I don't know how long these will last, but she is happy with them after the first few hikes.

Every picture here shows these with a colored thumb rotator. The ones I got have no rotator disc on them. It is not hard to roll the handle in your hand to turn the marshmallow but I bought these specifically for that feature. The items pictured is now what you will get. Not worth the return and hassle but disappointed. Even the picture in the bag with the instructions shows this feature but none of mine came with it.

Great to use with the "Landmann 28345 Big Sky Stars and Moons Firepit". These are a nice length, to keep kids from leaning to close to the fire. Come with covers for the tines, and always extend and retract just fine. We do clean them every time they are used and don't leave them outside.

They're very lightweight and get the job done. Good value for the set even if they're not the most durable.

a little thin and flimsy, but gets the job done. the metal prongs are so thin, marshmallows fall off easily. they are also very smooth. I think next time i'll buy something a little heavier. I'm guessing you can't get a heavier metal that telescopes, so pick your poison.
