RE:Zero - Standard DVD

Now this is properly done collector's edition. Awesome looking packaging, an excellent little book of extras and of course the series itself. One of the best shows I've ever watched, can't wait for more. You won't be disappointed. And mine came a day early too!

From start to finish this will keep you watching to the very end reliving the same day till you get it right but not all ways in the same way glad to know there is a second series hope it comes out with an English dub really carnt wate

The series itself is great, but Funimation have released these and all the discs are damaged which causes banding issues. It is not unwatchable but it is poor. I contacted Funimation as they are aware that all the discs are damaged and they are running a disc replacement plan for USA only with discs without banding issues but this service is not available for the rest of the world.

I have been hearing about the colour band issues on the first collector's edition, so I went and ordered the standard Blu Ray since I heard all of those issues were fixed & I am enjoying it so far.

Season 1 has 25 episodes, this dvd box has just the episodes 1-12. And I mean just, no extras at all, only few trailers for some other shows. I would rather have gotten the Re:Zero chibi shorts instead of random trailers or even just clean versions of the start/ending themes.
