Fun and a good commuter bike
This bike is so much fun, and the customer support has been out of this world. I live in the Northeast and I use this bike to commute to work and I bike all-year long even in the winters. I just got it so I am not sure how the winter will go yet, and I have not rode it in the rain yet. Just a little concern on how the electronics will do in the rain and snow. I got this because I use to drive to a park-n-ride and bike into work, because I have an extremely large hill on the way to my house. I now bike from my house to work and do not need to drive my van at all. I use the pedal assist to get up the large hill going home. If you live in a hilly area and above 45 years old (achy joints) you should definitely consider this bike it has helped dramatically. Now I have figure I need to get at least 2 years out of this bike to break-even on the cost of the bike (savings in commuting costs). I only gave it 4 stars because there are still some unknowns at this time.

I liked their reviews and made sure I bought it from ...
I bought it through Amazon but from Craniologie. I liked their reviews and made sure I bought it from them. I talked with Paul the owner and he was nothing short of super. Zane his sales rep also took very good care of me matching a deal made by another dealer across the country. Lastly, at 71 yrs, I am very happy with the bike and having a lot of fun riding and getting the exercise I wasn't getting walking 'cause of Arthritis in my ankles, but riding is different and if I get tired 5 miles from home-----I go total electric. This bike is the greatest thing since the invention of the "WHEEL". THANK YOU PEDEGO AND CRANIOLOGIE.Larry/ Schaumburg Ill.

Happy in the saddle!
Packaging was outstanding, set up a breeze. First ride made me giggle out loud. Controls are intuitive, and options are abundant but have to say I just can't help myself when it comes to using full throttle mode to fly up our hills. Had to give up riding for last 3 years due to bad knee but very happy to be back in the saddle with this little beauty!

Outstanding Service on a Great Product
I purchased this bike at Craniologie through Amazon. I worked with Paul who I believe is the owner. The service was nothing short of outstanding. Paul responded to emails in a very timely manner and furnished me his cell phone number that I used for a couple of questions. He even called me back from the airport after he deplaned to answer a question. His responses were not only timely but he provided a lot of useful information. This company is all about customer service. It took about a week to get from California to Vermont. The truck driver was great calling me to set up an appointment, following up when he was close and taking the bike up the driveway to my garage on his dolly. Another example of great serviceThe bike is fantastic. I bought the City Commuter Step Through. I am getting older and decided this made the most sense. I have to say I was a bit hesitant about getting something that can be perceived as a “girls bike” but lost that worry quickly when it arrived. It looks fantastic.I have only been out on it once so far but it was all that I thought it would be and more. “Hello Fun” for sure.

Amazing Ride
This is a fabulous bike. Sturdy, solid, reliable, beautiful ride for sure. Well worth the investment. The battery life is amazing also. Highly recommend this bike to anyone looking for this type of ride.

Quality bike that could use some tweaks
Very sturdy and nice looking. Quality parts! The bike is a bit heavy albeit it is a city bike and weight shouldn't matter as much. It rides nicely though it's not too nimble on sharper U turns. Don't fill the balloon tires too much near maximum inflation in hopes for increased battery mileage or the tires will rub on the fenders. It has a clean look. The Pedal assist function is too sensitive for me even on Level 1 though I feel others might enjoy this amount of help. It just needs to have a lower assistance at Level 1 (about half what it is now) since by Level 5 you are flying recklessly down the avenue at high speed with just the slightest Pedal movement anyway. Also, If they could shed abt 10 lbs via using lighter weight materials it would help immensely as loading this onto a bike rack is quite the workout even with the battery off. Overall I still consider it a 5 star for the quality, company support and durability.

It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Assembly was a snap
I did about 4 months of research before I purchased this bike. It has been everything that I hoped for. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Assembly was a snap. (Just the handle bars and peddles) The ride is both smooth and stable. It's a real pleasure to own a quality bike that is so much fun to ride. Also I can't say enough about Paul from Craniologie. He was right with me for every step of the purchase. He answered all my questions quickly. ~ Thanks Pedego and Paul at Craniologie for making the summer start out great! :D

Pedego makes riding a bike fun.
I bought the Pedego City Commuter 2.5 months ago in La Quinta, CA. It's a great bike with a solid comfortable ride. I ride it to and from work each day and put on an average of 27 miles per week in stop and go Palm Desert traffic. I charge the bike each weekend and it only uses up 40% of it's charge during the week.I bought the biggest battery available mostly so I could get the most torque during starts at busy intersections. This bike is a lot of fun. The service has been really great. It's a solid bike and looks great. When you get tired or hot, cruising on pedal assist or just straight throttle is a wonderful option.Make sure you invest in a heavy duty chain or cable. These bikes draw a lot of attention and make tempting theft targets.
