Nintendo Switch Users... Before you buy.
I bought this for my bedframe. I have a similar tablet holder from TaoTronics that only holds iPads. It can't hold anything smaller, so I got this primarily to hold the Nintendo Switch as it was advertised to do so. Well it does hold the Nintendo Switch, but not snugly. It is loose. Loose enough that it can slide out left or right of the mount. So if you aren't careful you will knock it out and your Nintendo Switch will fall out and hit the ground. If the mount could close just a half an inch more it could hold it tightly. You can get it to fit the other direction and pinch it into place, but only 3 of the 4 arms will hold the switch so there is still a risk of it coming loose. I'll probably find something I can stick in between the switch and the mount to get it to stay better. Fortunately I have a Switch Pro controller that I prefer to use when possible. The reason why this is fortunate is because if you leave the joycons attached to the switch the bumps on the back of the controllers are big enough to prevent the Switch from sliding out from left to right. So I leave those controllers in while its in the mount. If you don't have another controller to use you will be even more pissed than I was when you receive this as it would be too risky to try and keep the switch in place in the mount. besides that main flaw the thing is well built and sturdy. The clamp works well. I'm still able to plug in headphones and charging cable with the mount which is nice. This mount also includes a phone mount. This one can hold the switch pretty snugly. Still not the best fit and besides it blocks the charging port and headphone port, so doesn't work for my needs.

Some design quirks, but easily overcome and not a deal-breaker
This gadget works well for what I bought it for - holding my tablet while I read in bed. My tablet is an old Kindle 7" that's quite heavy, and this was a concern. However, the arm is more than sturdy and stable enough to hold it securely with no problems. The arm comes with two detachable device holders, one that is smart-phone sized, and one tablet-sized. Both easily adjust to hold virtually any sized device securely. My only problem with this product is that, mounted to my headboard as I have it, I cannot fold the arm up and out of the way. It just doesn't fold in that direction. Besides, I think if I folded it every night it would break soon enough. What I do instead is just remove the whole arm from the mount (see pics). This is very easily done, does not produce any wear and tear on any of the parts, and gets the arm out of the way so there are no worries about hitting my head on it.One other minor problem is the size of the screwing mechanism on the mounting bracket. If you're attaching this to a headboard, you will need to pull it away from the wall about two inches to make room for the screwing mechanism. Once you do this, it attaches very securely. So aside from these minor complaints, the arm does just what I need it to and makes reading (or web browsing) in bed a breeze. This would be great for anyone bedridden.

Cheap plastic broke for no reason, but incredible customer service
Broke after 3 months. Cheap plastic randomly cracked even though I haven't adjusted anything in over a week. iPad just slouches and points the screen at the floor now.Update: after posting this as a 1-star review, the seller messaged me and offered to send me a free replacement or refund, no return necessary! I'm not sure if the replacement will be more sturdy, but I am updating this to a 4 star review for the awesome customer service alone. If the replacement lasts longer, I'll change it to 5. I loved the thing for the time it worked, hopefully I won't have the same issue.

Exactly what I wanted
I've been wanting one of these for some time now and couldn't be happier with it. It is very sturdy and swivels around in any crazy contortion you need. By simply loosening up the nuts you can swivel it around and then tighten them up again and it will hold that position. The part that holds the actual tablet is detachable and comes with a smaller version for phones. I like this because too many all in ones fail to break down small enough for a phone or seem very weak and holding a tablet. Having the two dedicated attachments is a definite plus. I am an artist and I'm on my tablet or phone a great deal so I spend a lot of time propping up my devices using a number of crazy riggings. It's so nice to have this. It was easy on my wallet as well and I was afraid that it might not be high quality due to the low price tag, but it has proven itself more than satisfactory. I highly recommend this product.

Meh... Could be a lot better, not the worst arm I've ever had...
It is ok. It does hold it well in certain positions, TERRIBLY in other positions. It is also quite frustrating because it can only go out and back and does not turn very easily. All in all, if this was the first arm that I had purchased, I would probably like it enough. However, this was purchased as an upgrade from the bendy plastic arms that break all the time. Definitely not much better and I will probably go back to bendy once this breaks.tl;dr: if you can find a good place to clamp and you only need it to move back and forth (like for a business?) you will probably like it. If you want to use it to watch Netflix in an RV or in bed, go for bendy and replace them when they break

ipad mount loose
I use this arm to film a top view for art classes. The ipad stays firmly inside the holder, but the place where the holder slides into the mount is quite loose and falls off easily.

Very Convenient
A nicely thought out design which makes using my tablet very comfortable.I like to read in bed and previously used an 'around the neck' support which was very restrictive and sometimes uncomfortable. This support clamps onto my nightstand and has sufficient range of motion so I can read in bed very comfortably. I like the fact there are simple knobs to tighten every joint so it stays in place when I swipe the tablet to turn a page.In addition to the holder for the tablet, there is a holder for a smartphone. These are simple to interchange if desired.Overall a great improvement over other methods to hold a tablet.
