Premier Standard Silk Lace-Up Mid-Calf Bootie - Low Heel Casual Comfortable Walking Boot

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much when I bought these for only $25.00, but I'm glad I did. I own quite a few pairs of booties in different styles, and I prefer real leather over anything synthetic, but I didn't own any cute lace-ups and these caught my eye. So I hit the add to cart button on impulse and hoped for the best. I figured at worst I would wear them a few times, but it turned out that these are my go-to booties when I want to dress up an outfit but have a reasonably comfy chunky heel I can walk in.As for comfort, they do OK. They are wide enough that they don't pinch or compress my toes and the material has a bit of flexibility. The sole is wafer-thin, and there's only a the tiniest bit of padding on the insole, so you are going to feel every bump and crack in the pavement. I wore these on a night out during my trip to London and they survived the cobblestone sidewalks and streets. My feet, however, were a bit tender after eight hours in them, but I've fared much worse in more expensive boots. I think a padded sock might help improve the comfort of these, and I've taken off a half star for overall comfort.The material itself is very, very shiny with a two-tone effect which hopefully you can see from the pics I've uploaded. The product's pics here look much duller than the booties appear. I actually quite like the overall look. The eyelets are sort of a bronze-gold color but they shimmer almost silver depending on the lighting. The laces are made of the same slippery material as the shaft of the boot (feels similar to tent material) and while that looks aesthetically nice, they do tend to untie themselves over the course of the evening. I've worn these booties quite a bit and the laces are starting to fray around the stitching -- not the best quality laces, certainly -- so I'm thinking about getting other laces for them and I've taken another half star off the rating due to the laces.But.... they're super adorable booties, very lightweight (definitely not for cold winter weather!), and they pair well when I'm dressed down in jeans or dressed up for night out.

i love these boots ~ in fact i have them in all colors offered! i find them very comfortable ~ a few other reviewers said they were not cushioned enough ~ i would agree but as they are nicely cut there is room for me to add a memory foam insert sole and with that they are fab! i do not have narrow feet, not particularly wide but my feet do like room and they are comfortable even with the insoles ~ and the look is great! i wear with skirts and tights as well as with leggings ~ i really love these i recommend (and no terrible smell... maybe a little bit when new but not terribly strong... its the rubbery smell ... and i am very smell sensitive and these boots are worth it!)

I love shoes, and I usually love more expensive shoes than these, but I took a chance because of their affordable price, and I'm so glad I did. I LOVE these booties! They fit perfectly, and compared to most heels I wear to work, they are extremely comfortable. The heel is high enough for me to feel professional and classy but low enough to be tolerable for long periods of time. I have to resist the urge to wear them everyday!

Not really what I expected(cheap looking).....but I would have kept them if they didn't smell ...

Shoe is very pretty but the fit was a little tight. I wore them for about 10 hrs and before the end of the day my toes were sore. I wear a 9 but a 9.5 would have fit better. Even with the tight fit I’m considering ordering another color because I do like the look of them; however I know it’s not a shoe that can be worn for extended hours.

Bought for a halloween costume- worked for that. No padding to speak of- not the most comfortable shoe but served it's purpose. Sized as expected.

Wore these with my Sailor Jupiter cosplay for over 9hrs straight. Nice support and very attractive design. I replaced the laces with white ones, but the original ones are silky and green.
