I am super happy with this converter that allows me to use 100V stereo from Japan.
just got this today. Tested it with my voltmeter and it was at 102 volts. Which is amazing as our power here is 124, not 120V as it is supposed to be. So this unit seems to even have compensated some for that. Powers my Yamaha B-6 amplifier that is not meant for sale outside Japan. So this converter perfectly adjusts the voltage down to were I have zero worries about my newest amplifier. Very high quality!

Good quality voltage converter
I brought a Dyson hair dryer in Japan (1200W/100V) but couldn’t use it in the US because of the voltage difference. Bought this voltage converter and the hair dryer was happy. The build quality seems to be very good. I’m happy with the purchase.

Great value, heavy duty 3KW isolation step up / down transformer!
Great step up/down transformer at high wattage support!I actually ordered it three times and finally it arrived the correct one I ordered. Previous two I got wrong spec and sent them back. I waited 10 more days to try it again and this 3rd time came the correct one.I used it for dual purpose: Japan 100V appliance, and isolation transformer for high end audio.The 3KW rated transformer is no joke. Huge! Heavy! My power amp runs full throttle at 4-500W max capped and you really need at least 3x more power transformer to get the optimal result.It runs cool and quiet.It comes with 3 120V outlets and 3 100V outlets that seven more than I need.It’s bang for the buck 100%!

Good quality. Has the better style toroidal transformer in it. Compact, but heavy. Expected output voltage measured perfectly. On for 3 weeks, so far, without issues.

Low noise floor for hifi
Used to power a 100V Japanese Turntable. Accurate output voltage and very low hum. Additional 120V receptacle outletshould allow for phono stage power with grounds shared for possibly lower noise floor. Very good value.

Works great so far!
This item was well-packaged and arrived in excellent condition. It is easy to use - just put the switch in the back on the setting for your local electrical voltage, and put the device plug into the front outlet.We have 120V in North America, and the device we used was a Japanese CD player/receiver. We set the back switch to 120V and plugged the stereo into the 100 V outlet on the front.So far it is working fine.
