TYLT 2 Pack Portable Power Bank (5200 mAh)

Pretty good pair of battery packs. Picked these up for $24. Many similar products that are this style (2 packs of chargers that have a dock) typically go for $40, so keep your eye out for price drops.Everyone can figure the benefits of a power bank, but here’s a few likes and dislikes I have for this specific product that makes it different from the rest:Likes* The docking is super useful. It uses wire free contacts to charge the batteries so you don’t need to fuss with power cords. It might seem minor, but not having to deal with wires is awesome. Grabbing it, charging your phone, and just dropping it back into the dock to charge is satisfying every time.* Two smaller power banks comes in handy a lot more than you would think. Have friends over and many of their phones are dying by the end of the night? Kids fighting for chargers? You and a roommate going to separate places and both want to take some extra power for the road? These are just a few of many situations two packs are super useful.* The material is randomly awesome. It’s got a nice, soft, silicone/rubber feel to them. Gives them a good grip and feels premium.* The smaller packs make them much lighter and much more portable while still providing a decent amount of power. I have a spare Anker battery with 10k Mah capacity (these two are 5k each) and a lot of people prefer the smaller, lightweight packs.Dislikes* The dock needs to be more substantial. Wish it were weighted. It’s light, and removing and placing the battery packs into the docks makes it move around a lot. There’s been a lot of times where I take a pack out only to knock over the whole thing. I fixed this by putting a command strip on the bottom of it and attaching it to the table. Problem solved.* The wire free charging is nice, but it seems to take much longer to charge than a normal cable. You can, however, use a regular Micro USB cable to charge each pack.* Very minor, but the packaging was nonexistent. I attached a picture to the review - the product literally just came in a bag. Makes me wonder if I got a used version or something, but even the bag has a label on it that says “NEW”.Overall, these are minor issues. The convenience outweighs these minor problems. They’re great packs to have for around the house. Also very useful if you need some juice for the day, like if you’re leaving to run errands and need a quick recharge while you’re out. However, what I would not recommend it for is travel... if you need some chargers for some multi-day trips, I’d suggest you go for a bigger pack.

Batteries will no longer hold a charge after 2 months of use

These were great to start but I've only had them 5 months and they do not hold a charge anymore. One charger won't even charge my phone to 100%. I would not purchase these again.

I had a new one as a gift, the batteries could give you two charges. These used batteries do not hold a charge, very weak. Not worth the money.

With the holder/charging station, this makes the two 5000 mha power packs really handy. You can see at a glance the state of charge, and I like that. Plus, they have their own place, and I don't have to go around looking for them.Nice!

The portable chargers/power banks themselves are amazing, they are very durable, not too big, and hold a LOT of charge. The charging stand that came with stopped working after two or three uses, but you can still just use a micro USB cable (standard android charger cable) to charge them that way. For the cable I recommend searching for UNBREAKcable right here on amazon.

I have many tylt power packs and they are a great quality power pack in my opinion.
