Portal Outdoor Unisex's Camping Portable Chair

Nice solid chair with proper arms, strong enough to lift my 18st frame comfortably. Used for many hours at festivals and very comfortable. The arms are solid so you might want some padding if you constantly rest your arms on them but I’ve never found them a problem. The feet make it really stable and it doesn’t sink in to soft ground. No cup holders or any bells and whistles but it’s my favourite chair of all those I’ve collected over the years and the one that lives in the car ready to use.

Too small across the shoulder, digging into the back and the armrests do not work, they dig into the forearms. Finally, the seat is set at an almost right angle meaning your back is just too upright for comfort.

These portable chairs are excellent value for money, especially once you consider the quality of the product you are getting. I bought this Portal chair for a specific camping trip and it was fantastic. The material is really thick and comfortable, providing plenty of support. It is more comfortable than our 'proper' garden chairs. You can happily use it for hours without any discomfort at all, which is not the case with other camping chairs we have used in the past. The frame of the chair is really sturdy as well, which is really useful when you use the chair on rough ground.It is surprisingly lightweight as well, considering the quality of the materials. This makes them really easy to carry around with you if you are walking or hiking.The colour is great too and has stayed vibrant. They fold and unfold really easily and actually fit back into the storage bags with no trouble, which is not always the case with such things.As it is a versatile chair I would happily use this product for camping, on the beach or at a festival. I would defiantly recommend this product, and I will also be purchasing at least one more to replace our other camping chairs.

The Portal outdoors ‘Bill’ chair is one of my favourite investments that I have made in a long time. Although it is sold on the pricier end of the market, you can tell it will last a long time.It is very sturdy, as someone who is on the larger side will agree. It has plenty of room on the seat and 2 smaller adults would fit on it! There is no rocking or unevenness as it is self levelling. The feet are wide enough so the legs do not sink into the ground or sand.Where a chair such as this would ‘dig in’ on the back of your legs, this doesn’t seem to be a problem at all. There is ample back support while allowing you to be very comfortable.It is high enough for those with mobility problems to get in and out of it and the arms give support to allow you to push yourself up and balanceThe ‘Bill’ is also aesthetically pleasing and tasteful. It does not look ‘cheap’.As someone who is disabled, I am able to carry this chair. It is light and has a handle on the cover.It is relatively easy to pack away and take out. Our children could do it with ease.We live by the beach and we are very much looking forward to arguing over who gets to sit on it throughout the summer months.We will definitely be buying another and maybe some for our parents.

Well made, sturdy, ideal for camping but a bit slouchy. Not as supportive as a chair style with adjustable positioning.

I needed a sturdy and comfortable folding chair and this ticks all the boxes. Initial thoughts are that unfolding is a bit of an awkward process but gets easier with practice. They are heavy but still portable these are made to be left in the back of your car until you need them not a long hike to the beach. I'm made on the big side so I would rather the extra weight if it means they're sturdy. The only negatives are the storage bag and the price for what you pay the bag is dismal it's already starting to shows signs of wear and tear and it will not last very long at this rate. the price, I know you get what you pay for but if this was priced less than £40 it would be undeniably the best deal out there. If you have the money and dont mind the weight get these, I ended up buying another one enough said.
