I bought this for snorkeling in Hawaii. I'm unable to use a normal snorkel. Something about it simply doesn't work for me, I can never breath without gulping in water. So first the pros.These worked great for me. The stopper did what it should, I never got water in my mask from the snorkel part. The mask easily sealed around my face. Especially with the sunscreen I had on. The deeper I dove the better the seal in fact. When I let water in by putting the mask on while in the water it drained right out the bottom. I have asthma and even when swimming hard and breathing heavy the mask had no seal problems. I did need to occasionally get more air than I could pull through the mask, but like I said, asthma. The view was great. However, I used a baby shampoo film to prevent fogging.The cons. It didn't fit my girlfriend's face to seal completely. There was always a small leak on the face seal for her. The child size was too small, so something to keep in mind, two sizes probably doesn't fit all. Also, it does eventually fog. Slower than a normal mask though I found using some kind of antifog solution was helpful.Overall, I highly recommend, if the size is right and you can prevent the eventual fogging. These were a fantastic way to go snorkeling in Hawaii.

Great value. Bought the small for my 3 & 5 year olds. Fits the 5 year old perfect, but it's a tad big on the 3yr. It will seal great, it just has to be positioned right. Snorkel works great, blocks water when you go under. If any gets in, it simply drains out the hole in the mouth area. CANNOT dive more than a few feet underwater due to the immense pressure on your face.Perfect for kids, since they won't have to worry about keeping lips around a normal snorkel... Just breath normal!

This snorkel mask is amazing. It is super easy to use, very comfortable, and works extremely well. No leaks from the start. Never did fog up. When you dive under the water it absolutely keeps the water out of the snorkel tube. When you come back up a few drops may get in when the ball is releasing but not a big deal at all. Just be aware of it and don’t think your mask is all of a sudden leaking. I got one for myself, one for hubby, and one for teenager. The medium/large fit us all perfectly.

GREAT, I bought TWO! The only drawback is that it is very difficult to dive lower to get a closer look and play with the fishes or whale sharks, LoL!Used mone in the pool and on the beaches of Palawan! Yes, next stop at Oslob, Cebu to play with whale sharks... hope they're not hungry when we visit!=ox

I bought 2 masks before going on vacation. This mask and another similar item. I purchased the other first but was afraid it might be too small so I found this one and description said it was man size. After getting in the water at south padre the kids (17yo daughter and 15yo son) only used the other mask. I asked why and they said this mask leaks. So i tried it out. Sure enough, it leaked from the top. Not where the snorkel attaches but between the padding and your face. I tried the original mask and it was actually bigger and didn't leak at all. So 1 star for this mask. It is small but even on small heads like my daughter's it still leaks.

I ordered this in anticipation of my trip to Hawaii since I always have trouble with the traditional snorkeling equipment where you have to breathe through your mouth. I ordered the small/ medium size and this fit my face perfectly. The product also comes with a small instruction pamphlet as well as a camera mount for a GoPro etc.I tried using this in the swimming pool and I like it much better than the traditional snorkel equipment. One cautionary note is that this mask is meant for snorkeling on the surface of the water rather than going underwater with it – it will likely fog if you go underwater. The mask seems to be made of durable material and I am hoping it serves me well when I go snorkeling on my trip. I recommend this product especially given the lower price point vs other similar products.

I purchased 5 of these masks for our family to use in Hawaii. We were informed by our snorkel guides that theses masks may be linked to increased carbon dioxide intake and drownings. We were not allowed to use them on our snorkel cruise. I had no idea. I searched the internet and found many articles that describe the dangers of these masks.

Definitely does NOT allow enough air flow. Prior to purchasing this mask I already owned a full face snorkel mask wanting to have a spare I purchased this one and thought I got a great deal. I was so wrong! Not worth the 19.99. Besides the fact that I felt like I wasn’t getting enough airflow there was a jagged edge inside the mask that scratched my face and I still have a scare to this day. If I didn’t live in Japan I would just trash it but the recycling regulations are strict here and I’ll have to pay my trash company to take it.
