As pictured, it comes complete with a multifunction remote control and bracket which can be used to affix the light to a pole, tripod or other suitable base.The light really is surprisingly bight, especially for its compact size but don’t take my word for it - scroll down to the images and short video. It has a number of modes from various automatic colour modes (all colours, Red only, Green Only, Blue only and various combinations) and my favourites, the two music modes where the unit "listens" to the background music via a small built in microphone and reacts accordingly - the first is dark on silence, the other is gentle moving colours in silence.The control also features playback buttons but I've not worked out what these are compatible.All in all, this light is a great addition to any party and I highly recommend it - especially for the price.

This is a surprisingly compact and lightweight item. It's small and light enough to fit into a tote bag to carry to party.The word 'stage light' in the title is misleading, I think. A stage light, in my experience as an organiser and performer of stage shows, is something much more powerful. 'Party light' is the right description I think.When I plugged it into a socket, and it produces a nice spectacle of lights on the wall and the ceiling. With the remote control, I could select different programmes, including the choice of colours: red, blue, green, red&blue, red&green, blue&green, red&blue&green. My favourites are the two-colour options.There are also options for synchronising the lights with sound (music rhythms) and 'flash'. Personally, I hate the flash function. After just a few seconds of it, it makes me nauseous. If using this light at a party, I recommend not using the flash function because it may make your guests unwell - unless of course it is your intention to make them sick.The lamp emits a constant humming noise. It's not very loud and probably won't be heard over the music and general party din.Design-wise, I wish there was a way to attach the remote control to the stand of the light, to keep the two together. It foresee that before long, the small remote will get lost, especially at a party.To my frustration, the on/off switch of the remote doesn't work, so I have to turn the lamp on and off at the socket switch. The 'on' switch of the 'flash' function works, but the 'off' switch doesn't. I understand that this is a common problem with this product. It's not a big deal - I can turn it off at the socket switch and actually prefer doing so. But it's the reason I've deducted a star.My feline product testing assistant is fascinated by this lamp. Cats can't see colours well, so it can't be the colours that intrigue him, it must be the movement. Interestingly, he doesn't seem interested in the dots of light dancing along the wall, but by the movement within the lamp itself. He gazes at it with rapt attention.He also enjoys the humming noise coming from the lamp, probably because it sounds like a buzzing insect.I've attached some photos of the light effects (the two-coloured ones which I like best) as well as of my cat with the lights. I would have liked to show you more pictures of my cat gazing rapturously at the lamp, but in most photos the light sort of blurrs out the image of the cat.

Bought this light for our 4year old Daughter who likes to dance. Wasn't expecting very much when box arrived as it's tiny. Well how wrong was I, this little light is amazing..lights up our whole living / dining area and creates a real Disco environment at home.Needless to say our Daughter loves it and it's so small and portable that we'be had a Disco at every house visit over the festive period lol..true!Would highly recommend this product, great price, plugs in rather than those screw in light bulbs, remote control for different sequences, small and portable, creates a great disco atmosphere at home.

Fun little light. Works well in small rooms. Its really light and has a range of light colours. Doesn't really flash in a totally strobe/ laser type way on the beat, but seems to change at the end of bars. The mains cable is very short for an appliance, so you will likely need an extension cable for the plug. However for the price its a decent unit and is a fun light for small parties at home.

My teenage Grandchildren had one of these each and we had them going at each end of the room on Boxing Day. Went great with the Karaoke and the disco light did all it said it was going to on the box, I looked at all the reviews which made me settle for this one and also the price was right. They will be taking them along to lots more parties - they were both delighted - so "one up" to Gran..

We have now used the disco light and can say that it operates as described, it is quite spectacular and impressed the party goersHave not given this light a test run as yet, this will be tonight.Overall quality of unit lends itself to the lower end of manufacturing standards with the light clear plastic cover showing scratches and moulding marks.It did work when first arrived and appears to do what is on the label. For the price it cost and passes the disco night tonight and over the summer then I will be satisfied

Ok for the money, not as good as video reviews I've watched, took a long time to come , also motor is noisy and when you switch it off with remote control lights go off but motor still whirring away , my advice depending on your budget spend a bit more get a better one especially one that turns completely off from the remote control

This little light has much to commend it: it’s inexpensive, it’s bright, comes with remote control with battery installed etc. Mine was damaged on arrival but the suppliers were great and shipped me a new one in less than a week and it works fine. Don't expect a professional disco style lamp for this price but if you just want to light up a household room for a party, then this'll do the job nicely.
