Perfect stapler - well-built, handles larger document bundles
Definitely heavy duty, this stapler takes ordinary standard sized staples (24/6). For many years I've been making do with a very old metal stapler which handles fewer sheets at a time, has to be opened & closed after every single staple and each staple usually needs help afterwards to fully fasten, so as you can no doubt imagine, I was more excited than most people would be about the arrival of this new stapler. It's very smart in black, well-made and excellent quality. As I've had lots of extra paperwork to manage lately, this was very much needed. The body is solid strong metal, with a removal plastic cover on the base and comfortable rounded plastic top to push down on. I haven't counted out exactly 50 sheets, but it does handle large thick documents very well. Removal of the non-slip base enables the round 'plate' to be easily rotated in case of wanting to fasten staples in the flipped outwards position; I've never needed to do this, but it's satisfying to know that I now can. It's so easy to use - I can't tell you how much I appreciate this seemingly 'simple' office tool which works so smoothly.

It staples!
Got this for the home, I tried some thick packaging paper and it stapled a few sheets together which I've not been able to do before, this might be a bit much for home use but I think it's worth paying a little more for office use. Used to get through a stapler eveyyear in work and feel this one would last a bit longer!

A decent stapler for the price
Most heavy duty staplers cost £15 and upwards so this being available for under £12 (at time of writing) is pretty good value. On the base it states that this stapler can take 24/6, 24/8, 26/6 and 26/8 staples. I'm not sure if that's correct as the Amazon adverts says it only takes 24 size staples. The maximum amount of papers able to staple together is advertised as 50 sheets of 80gsm using 24/8 size staples. In the box you get 1000 x 24/6 staples included, which is handy. The stapler feels well made and pretty robust. It's easy to use and I found that it works well. The only thing I would have liked is for the base to have some kind of non-slip surface as it can move about a little in use, but it's not really a problem, just a preference.Overall I am happy with this stapler and I give it 5 stars. Recommended, especially for the price.

Stapler
Does what it says, quite a large and robust looking one, with a small box of staples. Load and use just like other staplers, but at a cost of £11.99 when reviewing, this isn't cheap for a bog standard piece of office equipment. Successfully stapled some sheets together with this, not much else to say.

Good Quality
A full-sized stapler and boy is it well made, It will staple up to five pieces of paper at a time if desired, and the stapler is straightforward to use... Made from stainless steel and high-density plastic it is made to last, whether for office or home use this will meet all your stapling needs... Comes with 1000 staples which are easy to insert into the chamber, and with a simple press down on the staple head, your papers are stapled together.

Sturdy stapler
I needed a product that could cope with a good number of pages. It is reasonable with 12-15 pages - however 41 pages of 90 gsm paper exhausted the length of the staples - enough protruded to constitute a scratch hazard but not enough to be closed by the stapler. The old trick of stapling from both sides did not work as the protruding bits prevented the second staple from penetrating. Use of a sturdy pair of pliers to bend the protruding ends over then allowed stapling from the other side and again using the pliers to bend over the ends to make the document handleable. In normal usage even stapling just 2 sheets needs a very firm push - so the ergonomics are not very good. However the stapler is very sturdy.

Heavy duty enough to deal with thick wads.
When you need to staple things together and you find that your stapler just isn't up to the job it does get very frustrating. This heavy duty machine will go where other lesser staplers fear to tread and that's great when you have a thick bunch of papers that you need to bind together. This is a high quality piece of kit with the power to get difficult stapling jobs done and with reasonable ease. I haven't tried to staple 50 sheets but it managed a dozen of my computer printouts without breaking sweat.Value wise £11.99 is not the cheapest stapler that you can find but this is a robust and pretty powerful machine that comes with 1000 staples to get you going and so I feel it is worth the price.

Strong
Price at review: £11.99This is a well built stapler. It feels high quality to me. I tested it and it was able to go through 16 sheets of paper which seems really good. It has a good solid arm and a good spring return and spring under the staple receiver. You get 1000 staples with it and replacements are easily obtainable as it is relatively standard size.Recommended.
