The Wind Door is designed to work with the standard PizzaQue and Pizzeria Pronto, so it is not tall enough to cover the entire opening when the extension ring is added. It will work and help block out most of the wind, but there will be a gap above the door where wind can get in or heat can come out. So it will help, but not as much as it helps without the extension ring. Hope that helps explain and answer your question. Pizzacraft Customer Service

I have one. It is awkward and doesn't fit very well. I think I would pass on it next time around.

As we have only the pizzaque and that is the only oven we have used, our answer is only in regards to that product. The lid on our pizzaque fits very well to the base. No issues to report.
