Great gadget
Tile is good if you sort of know where you last left it as tracking radius is only if youâre in the same place as if to a degree. The last seen feature is more helpful as it helps pinpoint where it last was. I like the sleek design as I was deciding where to get this or a AirTag for my partner card holder. This is a better choice as itâs barely noticeable. Iâve had one over a year and havenât had any issue when it comes to battery life. Easy enough to set up and connect. Loud enough when in the house you can hear it

Fits in my wallet
Lots of locator tags are designed for key rings, so don't fit comfortably in a wallet, but this one is card shaped (but a bit thicker than a card), so it easily fits in my card wallet.Nowadays, I don't use cards much - most payments are by phone, so I often put down my wallet and don't need it again for a few weeks, so I've forgotten where it is. This tag lets me find it using the Tile app. It's easy to use and gives directional 'hints' if you're close, but not close enough to connect. If you're too far away, the app will just show the last known location.

Works great
Works great and really satisfied with it. Going on holiday soon, so lets see if it does what it says it does if my wallet gets nicked

Discrete
Very discrete and fits in my wallet like a store card. To date it's accurately tracking my location throughout Europe.I'm not sure why it keeps requesting to turn off my "battery saver" and wants permission to access other phone functions.

Great customer service.
Decent range and easy to use app. The audio on one failed after about 2 months. Customer services were excellent. They asked for video of the fault and sent a replacement in a couple of days.

Saved my wallet lots of times
I bought this after losing my second wallet in the space of a few months. But I'll never lose it again now. Great feature shows the exact address of it last location and will beep when your near by making it easy to find when in the house

Bulky for Wallets and Limited Range-Tile Slim (2024) Looks New but Falls Short on Performance
Packaging & First Impressions:The Tile Slim (2024) was delivered promptly, well-packaged, and looked completely new right out of the box-no marks, scratches, or signs of previous use. The presentation was neat and gave a good first impression.Design & Build:While the Tile Slim is advertised as âcredit card-sized,â I found it noticeably bulkier than a standard card. Itâs definitely slimmer than most trackers, but when placed in a regular wallet, it makes the wallet feel thick and awkward-especially if you already carry several cards or cash. If you use a minimalist wallet, you may find it too bulky for everyday comfort. The matte finish is sleek and modern, but it can scuff with regular use. On the plus side, itâs IP68-rated, so itâs both dustproof and waterproof.Setup & Compatibility:Setting up the Tile Slim is quick and easy. It pairs via Bluetooth with Android devices using the Tile or Life360 app. The app is straightforward and user-friendly, letting you ring the tracker, check its last known location, or even use the Tile to ring your phone.Features & Performance:Bluetooth Range: The advertised 350-foot range is optimistic. In my experience, the tracker could not be found from just one room away (with a standard wall in between)-the app simply showed it as âout of range.â This is a significant limitation if youâre hoping to find your wallet or passport in a different room or floor of your home.Alarm: The 104-decibel alarm is fairly loud in open spaces, but if the tracker is inside a wallet or bag, or there are obstacles like walls, itâs much harder to hear.Battery: The battery is non-replaceable and rated for about three years. After that, youâll need to buy a new tracker.SOS & QR Code: The SOS feature is handy if you use Life360, and the QR code on the back is a nice touch for lost-and-found situations.Premium Features:Tile offers a paid Premium service for features like Smart Alerts (notifying you if you leave your item behind) and 30-day location history. These are useful, but itâs a downside that theyâre not included for free.Pros:- Delivered well, looked brand new- Easy setup and cross-platform compatibility (iOS & Android)- Waterproof and dustproof (IP68)- QR code and SOS features for added securityCons:- Bulky in most wallets-adds noticeable thickness and can be uncomfortable- Real-world Bluetooth range is much less than advertised; cannot reliably find tracker from one room away- Alarm is hard to hear through obstacles or inside a wallet/bag- Non-replaceable battery (requires replacing the whole tracker after ~3 years)- Premium features require a subscription- No real-time tracking; relies on proximity to other Tile/Life360 usersOverall:The Tile by Life360 Slim (2024) is easy to set up, looks good, and offers some useful features, but itâs bulkier than expected for a wallet and the Bluetooth range is disappointing-it couldnât even locate the tracker from one room away in my home. If you need a truly slim tracker or reliable whole-house coverage, this may not be the best option. However, if you want a waterproof tracker for travel documents or luggage tags and donât mind the limitations, itâs still a decent choice.
