Durable for sure
It’s compact and blocked the wind yesterday when it was a torrential downpour and windy. It’s reflective but I didn’t check it because I forgot lolThis will be the one I keep in my truck for sure. I wish the sleeve could be a little bit bigger so I don’t have to wrap it place it back the way it came ( I’m lazy ) lol I’ll let me daughter have the blue one and I’ll keep the black one.

Sturdy at a good price
I bought these umbrellas because my 2 daughters need them for the walk to and from school, but they are hard on things and have broken multiple umbrellas in the past year. So far these umbrellas have held up to the "beating" very well. None of the spines have broken even after being left out to be stepped and sat on. Our neighborhood gets really windy because of the way it was built out umbrellas would always flip inside during a storm. We have inly had one of these flip a single time and it was more from being bounced off the door than the wind. It flipped right back with no damage. The material is sturdy and we have had no rips. They only things i can complain about is that once you take the umbrella out of the carrying case and open it once you can not close it small enough to fit back in. Also since these umbrellas close in we had an incident where i picked it up to put it in the bookbag and water poured out all over the place, but keep in mind it was really coming down the day before now i just give it a little upside-down shake before storing and haven't had any more spills. The biggest problem was that when you first get these umbrellas they are stiff when it comes to closing. The open button worked get from the beginning, but i had to use 2 thumbs to get the close button working. Also pressing the umbrella down after closing it was almost impossible at first. The first time i thought it was broken, but after a little use both of these issues seem to have fixed themselves. Although my girls are younger so they still have trouble compressing the umbrella and press it onto the ground until it clicks, but that just speaks towards the durability that it can take such abuse.

Great Umbrella
I really like the reverse umbrella. It puts the water away from you instead of bring it back towards you. Constructions is solid including fit and finish. The material is thick and sturdy. I would like a little longer handle that would be easier to hold. But otherwise product is solid.

** VERY DANGEROUS PRODUCT - DO NOT PURCHASE OR USE! **
I purchased this umbrella set as a birthday gift for my better-half. Unfortunately, while the concept is good, the execution/design of this umbrella is very poor and extremely dangerous. The problem is in the way the umbrella opens up. You push a button on the base and within a second, it "EXPLODES" violently to an open, fanned-out position about two feet from the handle. There is no safety-lock to prevent the umbrella from being accidentally released and if it is not held firmly at arms-length pointed away from face and head, serious injury can (and likely will) result. The force of the automatic opening mechanism is much too powerful, uncontrollable, and unsafe; young children would be especially vulnerable to potentially significant or fatal injury. We've used many other compact umbrellas in the past that open-up gently, slowly, and are easily controllable and safe to use. This thing has a mind of its own and is unwieldly. There are NO WARNINGS printed anywhere on this product (or its packaging) to alert customers about this unexpected, aggressive functionality. Of course, if a warning needs to be placed on a common household item like this, it probably shouldn't be manufactured and sold in the first place!Another issue is that the umbrella is very hard to close and fold. While it's much too easy too open (accidentally), it requires significant pressure and effort to push the umbrella back down to the base. Once the shaft is pressed all the way down, it doesn't easily lock itself to the base; without that "snapping" sound indicating that it is truly closed, the shaft will forcefully expand back to a fully open position. Even after wrestling with this umbrella to get it closed and affixed securely to the base, it is really cumbersome to fold the canopy tight enough to slide into the travel-pouch. It took at least a minute or two to fidget with it enough to make it (just barely) fit. The awkward, clumsy design of this product makes it impractical for travel and everyday use. Finally, this umbrella, while somewhat compact, is NOT lightweight at all! This is likely due to the overly strong spring-mechanism incorporated into the shaft. My wife commented on how heavy it is and that it's the last umbrella she'd want to walk around or travel with. We've owned much lighter, more compact umbrellas that fit comfortably in a pocket or purse and felt nearly weightless. So, in summary: please, PASS ON THIS product! There are simply too many competing, high-quality umbrellas on Amazon and elsewhere to make this item worthy of your time, consideration, and most of all, SAFETY! We hope you found this review helpful.

Hard to close
Umbrellas are hard to let down and after 8 months they are rusting

Best umbrella ever!
I received the umbrella just in time for a massive storm! They are made extremely well! I love how easy they are to open and close. Definitely stood up to the high winds we got! Highly recommend!

Getting in the car
This umbrella is easy to open and great the way it folds up while one is getting in the car while it’s raining hard. I have arthritis in my thumbs, so closing it all the way is difficult for me, but I manage.

They feel quality - Still to be tried
You feel the quality right out of the box - Having a set of 2 is perfect, you keep one at home and one in your car. And yes as per the previous comments, they can fit for 2 people* (they are bigger than the usual small umbrellas) I gave them 4 stars because when you try to close them it's not easy at all because the spring is too strong and this might be an issue for older people, kids or people with injuries.
