Not too shabby for $100 does the basic that you're looking for in a video doorbell but probably worth $80Pro: easy set up, micro sd compatible no unnecessary monthly subscription, cam quality pretty good with wide dynamic range.Cons: only works while in range with home wifi... cannot check on door if away from home. Camera video doesn't capture best quality when moving and at night, lastly batteries only last about a couple of weeks, recommend recharging every other week to be safe.

I bought this to monitor my darkened front door alcove. The night visibility feature is very good. Video quality was very good. Ease of mounting on a brick wall was very good. The plug-in wireless door bell was convenient. HOWEVER, using the rechargeable option rather than hard wired, I found it failing to recharge completely from the very get go. Charge would run out within the week with it on motion activate (blowing leaves, etc set it off). The time lag between someone triggering the video alert on my phone and my being able to respond to the visitor was some 10 to 15 seconds- not good for speaking to delivery persons, porch pirates, etc. The volume when turned up was also at best Medium loud, with people needing to lean into the doorbell to hear me or converse. Finally the non-standard screw for attaching the doorbell to it's bracket and removing it when needing to recharge was irritating. One little star-shaped screwdriver (I think) that, if misplaced, made me want to bash the doorbell with a hammer to get it off the mounting! So- good potential, good features, poor performance in real world conditions and poor batter recharging. If you think you're going to buy this, I'd recommend hard-wiring it.

The package arrived well packaged, a day late but no biggie. The instructions did help some except for when I removed the doorbell from the base and the alarm kept going off. I finally got it to stop. It’s actually too wide for where my doorbell currently is so I moved it to a different location. I can hear the doorbell upstairs and the picture from the camera is actually decent. The speaker could remit voices clearer but it’s not bad enough for me to send it back. I hope it continues to work because I’ve read some people have problems after a couple of months, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed 🤞🏾

The Physen Doorbell stopped working after 8 months period. It will not even charge. I sent a message to Physen but all they could send me was a paste of the FAQ trouble shooting topics. The doorbell is not even charging. My smart power strip is even saying that something is wrong with the doorbell when I connect it to be charged. My power strip has a blinking light that signals that something attached to it has a bad circuit. The doorbell was working fine until then. But since it just died mysteriously and customer service assumes the customer is in error. I cannot recommend this product. It is still in the warranty period also but I'm not sure I want a subpar product on my electrical system.

Stay away! Please save yourself a migraine and purchase a Ring doorbell. Sadly, this sorry worthless mechanism only lasted 5 months with a ton of prior issues beforehand. I even purchased the square trade insurance and again... what a joke! This companies costumer service, DOES NOT EXIST. Therefore... STAY AWAY. This sorry worthless mechanism isn’t worth the frustration it will definitely cause you.

Voice signal very scrambled. Video quality very good but needs a more detailed instruction video on use with cellphone. 10/31/2018 Just died suddenly. So disappointed. I should have kept the previous doorbell connected. Not a good deal with no customer support available. No support or response from seller. Doorbell stopped working again permanently in less than a year.

This doorbell fails across the board. As a computer technician I know what I’m speaking about. In real time with the app open it works. But how often are you going to be sitting around with the app open when someone rings your doorbell? When someone approaches the doorbell you receive a notification. By the time the app opens, the person has left! That alone should be enough to convince you to look elsewhere. If you seek another reason, read the rest of the negative reviews. I’d be repeating what others have said.

This product work 1 week ok then it started to shut down & even when recharged it worked for a while then had to reset several times.Not please with this product .I have all the equiptment & the book for how to install but unfortunately the box that everything came in has been damage outside.If I could return it Please and get a better 1 ?I have returned.
