Amazing value for money
The media could not be loaded. This setup is fantastic—no more hassle with ball heads! A tip: mount the camera with the lens foot in a horizontal position. The camera’s balance will hold steady in any position. Just remember, this isn’t meant to function like a typical ball head.

It is really a side mounted ball head
You only get what yo pay for. I already have a Wimberley MH-100 MonoGimbal Head, but I wanted a gimble head for my holiday home as I try to reduce the kit I travel with. This was on offer so I gave it a go. It's really a bit of a toy, ok I suppose for light weight rigs but I question its 4Kg claim. It's just a side mounted ball head and not a particularly good one at that. I have returned it as not suitable for me. For a light weight rig and those on a tight budget it might be OK.

Updated review : Replacement works smoother
Edit: original order was not able to hold heavier setup still under weight limit of the item very well and i returned it however seller reached out to me and offered to try another piece deeming first one could be faulty. They sent me replacement head and this seems to be smoother than first one. Also i would still be cautious if using very heavy telephoto lenses.I would stick to using only small under 3kg setups with this head or use it as normal ball head.Great after care service by the seller.Do not buy if you are going to use it with long telephoto lenses.

A Sturdy, Easy to Use and Reliable Gimbal Mount
The Neewer gimbal tripod mount is sturdy, easy to use, and reliable. The mount was well-packaged, and all parts were neatly secured with no damage during shipping. The metal construction gives it a solid, premium feel. The low-profile design is valuable for those looking for something compact yet reliable.Installation was quick. It attaches to your monopod via a 3/8" thread quickly. The quick-release Arca-type QR clamp ensures a firm grip on the camera or telephoto lens, allowing for smooth adjustments without worrying about it slipping. The gimbal head allows 360° panning and 90° tilting, making it ideal for capturing smooth, controlled movements when tracking fast-moving subjects. The gimbal head itself is highly functional. It supports up to 8.8 lbs, which is more than enough for my long telephoto lenses. I’ve used it during outdoor shoots, and the smoothness of the movement was noticeable. The 360° panning is very responsive, and the 90° tilt gives you great flexibility for different shooting angles. Overall, this is a reliable option for photographers or videographers who need a quality monopod head without a high price tag. Full marks from me!
