There are already some very detailed reviews, so I’ll just say that even though I am yet to seriously test it, my first impressions are great.The spade is 1/16” stamped steel, it’s actually thicker than I expected, it’s well made and locks into the two positions tightly. The locking nut and the rivets feel solid as well. Everything is metal, it’s well machined, comes together well, and has a high quality feel to it.Overall, I am very impressed with the build quality.

This little thingis awesome! Its all sorts of kick a$$! It feels solid and sturdy. The screw piece that holds the shovel in its locked position has been suggested that its metal in other reviews. In fact it is metal. It is billet aluminium perhaps. Im unsure of the material, but it is built with abuse in mind. I haven't dug a trench (or a grave) but she seems like she will hold up to the pressure. It also includes extra pieces for the handle, as well as emergency life saving gear. A whistle and magnesium fire starter etc... You see that all in the write up. The one issue i have is that i did not buy the extra add-ons with the original purchase. And unfortunately i can only find handle extensions to purchase separately. I should have bought the bigger package with all included.If you are thinking about buying this, i highly recommend it! If you are on the fence, JUMP!Spring for the bigger better packs. You won't regret it

Went on a short 3 hour drive up into some snowy/ icy road conditions at night and this small shovel got me out of a jam and made room under my tires for where my traction boards couldn't access.Highly recommend this item. I used it without the handle extensions to get the initial snow out and then chip away at the ice beneath it. Definitely should be part of the vehicle tool kit if you travel to remote areas on occasion.This item will be going camping and on hikes with me also, since it's so small and compact. Solid and very useful item coming from our favorite Asian country!

Even more robust than I expected, yet it's made like a piece of jewelry. Fit and fish are great. It's an actual tool, not a gimmick and should hold up in actual use.

Great little shovel. Does what you want it plus more. I like the Size of it, it's not so small that it's a pain to use but at the sane time it's not so large that it's hard to pack. A little on the heavy side, but with everything that's in it and hire sturdy it feels, I'm willing to deal with that.

bought with extensions - extremely well made, light weight and sturdy. tried all attachments with no trouble. will recommend to friends to add to their emergency road kits. one suggestion - have pamphlet printed in English. lots of pictures so there is no trouble figuring out different configurations.
