Great little alarmed padlock for the price paid. It will deter little thieves from your shed, your garage or your tool box. The beauty of it is that it doesnt really show it is alarmed. They would get the scare of their lives . It is water resistant so a bit of rain will not kill it. The only downside is that the sound is not extremely loud, but loud enough to let you or the neighbours know something is going on. All in all an excellent bargain for the price.

As a lock, it's okay. As an alarm - well, not the greatest. As others have stated, there's problems with it. You can silence the alarm when it's going off quite easily (as mentioned below) and also it's just not sensitive enough. I've shaken it forcefully and it still won't go off. It does eventually with a knock but it's not great with strong movement. Think I may send it back because it doesn't do what it says on the tin. Shame.

Nice sturdy feeling padlock, great having the build in alarm which you can choose to use at times or not. Was worried the padlock wouldn't fit my gym locked but so pleased it does. Great buy and great service fast delivery.

I bought this to lock my suitcases together when left in the hotel rooms to reduce the possibility of someone just walking off with them. The alarm is okay, but the wife will not let me set it in case it gives the room cleaner a heart attack!! The alarm can be deadened by holding a finger over the speaker aperture, but I don't see anyone walking along trying to do this.

I bought this padlock at the end of September last year. It was placed on an outdoor bike shed. It was unlocked and locked a handful of times since then. At no point have I ever been able to get the alarm to work, no matter what. 2 of the flimsy spare keys snapped but I was able to remove them. I'm sat writing this with he third key snapped in the barrel as the padlock has seized. Nothing moves now. The shackle is also covered in rust spots. It has lasted less than 8 months and never worked properly, ever...

Sorry, the lock itself was ok but the alarm part never worked, no matter what I did. I changed the batteries, as suggested by the seller, but that made no difference. Sent back and eventually got a refund. Wouldn't buy again, to be honest, disillusioned.

Highly recommended. Someone tried to break into our shed so got this. If you move it there is a warning sound first rather than full-on siren. Plus the extra batteries and warranty are a good plus. Excellent value for money
