WHITINMen's Canvas Barefoot Shoes | Wide Toe-Box | Zero-Drop Sole

Amazing comfortable inexpensive well made shoes.
All describing words I used in the title apply. These shoes are amazing. I took them to Red Rock in the Mojave and they held up with no problem (or scuffing, even!) to my cuckoo self clambering over rocks and jumping off of boulders.Quick dust busting (I used compressed air but you could definitely use a dust feather or small vacuum) later and they were very much the original black color.Grip is amazing (and pleasantly squeaky on the concrete floors at Home Depot). Fit is like a sock.*Important*The thin insoles they come with really really really help the adjustment period from full cushion to zero drop cushionlessness. I kept mine in and my feet feel so much stronger already.Highly recommend a waterproofing spray but I just took a plain paraffin wax candle and rubbed it all over the upper. After the whole upper was sufficiently waxed (removing the laces really helps!), the color was white from the wax. I took a hair dryer, turned it on high heat, and warmed the shoes with it. The wax melted and it's a very solid natural long lasting waterproofing finish.Highly recommend these.Update:One little thing I really don't like is they're not as wide as I would like barefoot shoes to be. My feet are supposed to have more room to spread out but the shoes are 'normal' width. Keep this in mind.No other problems.

Excellent Shoe for the Price
I normally wear a 10.5 4E shoe and have been hard pressed to find something reasonably priced that size. The normal "wide" shoes from the name brands tend to pinch mid sole or in the toe box. If you look at this shoe, it's got a wide toe box. I bought the size 11 and was skeptical when the shoe came shrink wrapped. But... the shoes fit great. It really is a zero drop sole and gives you a barefoot feel. I don't walk many miles in these shoes and would probably put on shoes with thicker soles if I did. They are tailor made for the terrain between your cube and the break room are go quite nice with my jeans or even shorts.I think at this price, you can get a few pairs of different color for whatever suits your mood. If I had a gripe, this shoe is not for the lazy person who just wants to slip on their shoes. I break out the shoe horn or untie/tie the laces them to put them on.

Size felt true for me, Love the style however..
I understand these are made in China but its obvious the sole is glued to the rest of the shoe instead of stitched not sure how long they will last, they are actually pretty comfortable seems like they used some kind of memory foam throughout the inside of the shoe, Only thing I kind of dislike is how low they sit on my ankles makes me feel like I might slip out of them whilst walking and or maybe even running but so far so good, Might be worth a shot if you're looking to try something different.

Great shoes
Very comfortable, lightweight, and incredible value for the price.I’ve been working from home for years - barefoot or in sandals - and my toes are far too spaced apart for traditional shoes now.Now that I’m finally transitioning back to the office, these things saved me from uncomfortably tight shoes that would ruin my feet.Yes, they’re kinda ugly. Whatever. Everything with a wide toe box has a “clown shoes” look to it. At least you’re not deforming your toes!

Best shoes are the ones you forget are on
VERY SATISFIED! As soon as I put them on I knew I’d been doing shoes wrong for an entire lifetime. You need to measure your foot before purchasing and you may have a “am I doing this right?” Moment… but once you figure it out and find your fit… perfect!I’ve been running in them every day since i bought these and also just wearing them daily. Holding up well, and at the right price point that even if they do wear out in 4-6 months from over usage it’s still absolutely worth buying another pair

Poor fit
Not comfortable and they don’t fit. I went up a size of a previous pair I ordered, which were also small fitting… and they were STILL too small.Needless to say I won’t be ordering again.Only plus size is they were cheap so it’s a pretty negligible loss.

Not great tread, but otherwise perfect
I love these wide toe-box, "barefoot" shoes from Whitin; this is the 3rd pair I've purchased, and I rarely wear any other type of shoe. The quality is decent for the price. I usually get about 9 months of use out of them before the tread goes bald and the insert comes unglued. This is a great length of time for a product of this price, especially considering I wear them as my primary shoe nearly every single day for 12+ hours. If you've never used these types of shoes before, it can take a few weeks for you to get used to walking on the balls of your feet instead of your heels, and to get used to feeling more texture in the surfaces you walk upon. But this does nothing but good for the health of your feet, so I suggest keeping it up until they feel natural. My only real complaint about these shoes is the tread can be slick on wet surfaces. So it'd be nice if the tread was a tad deeper or had slightly wider grooves. But I realize there is only so much that can be done with a sole as thin and flexible as these are, and it's only mildly more slippery than the sole of standard sneakers. But it's enough of an issue that I wouldn't use these on wet surfaces, especially wood surfaces like decks or sports courts of any kind (but it's fine if the surface is totally dry). You should definitely give these shoes a try if you have any interest in "barefoot" shoes or just an economical, comfortable all-around footwear solution. I doubt I'll ever go back to standard shoes again. Very happy customer!

Great shoes. Bad Amazon experience
The sneakers are great. Amazon lost my package. Amazon gave me a terrible attention. I should pay the taxes again after the refund, to buy them again.

Excellent for the price!
This is my first pair of barefoot shoes and I absolutely love them! Ever since I started wearing them, I no longer experience any pain in my feet nor shins. However, you'll need to "re-learn" how to walk in them. It's best if you take a few minutes read up on or watch a demonstration video on transitioning to barefoot shoes. Also, I highly suggest using them with toe socks and toe spacers for the ultimate barefoot shoe walking experience! :)Lastly, they're not waterproof nor water resistant. So, be sure to use some sort of water repellant spray with them.

Tenis descalzos
Son anchos y cómodos para mis dedos, util para cualquier tipo de camino. Suela muy suave. Lo único que no me agrada es que por su material es un zapato que huele mal y hace que huela mal tu pie. Lo solucione con talco para zapatos.
