A Sharp and Well-Designed Tool...
I usually purchase the less expensive under $10 spring-assisted opening knives, but really liked the way this one looked. The extra expense was well worth it; this is a gorgeous, hefty and sturdy knife! Fit and finish are flawless, the blade is profiled on both sides AND hollow ground and razor sharp! The spring assisted opening is perfect; the blade lock works as designed. The blade lock release is better than the usual crenelated tab; this one is wider and contoured; easier on the fingertips. Ergonomically, this knife feels natural in the hand; the material of the handle has a carbon fiber finish which provides a very secure grip, as does the large profile of the handle. It reminds me of the old brass and teakwood Buck knife of yesteryear... Excellent knife for and excellent price!!! I'll be purchasing more of these as gifts and stocking stuffers.

It's a keeper
This knife is an extremely large, heavy knife. This is NOT what I would consider a 'pocket' knife in any form and as such the seller(s) provide a nice nylon sheath to go along with this knife. Has a good, sturdy feel to it along with a really nice grip. The spring-assisted blade (which check your local laws before purchasing - this item may ding on a few things as in length of blade and the spring assisted which are illegal in some areas) opens this knife quickly and easily. For $21 this is a definite keeper. Comes sharp, holds the edge well and as my husband loves the Tanto style blades - it's a great pickup for him. Just remember, this is an extremely large knife and heavy! Not a normal pocket knife by any stretch of the imagination but does have a clip and you can put it into your pocket - it does poke out from the pocket quite a bit as the clip is further down on the handle.

Good Work Knife
I didn't like this knife at first and I was going to return it. But after a week of shopping around for a better, prettier knife I realized what I had was a knife that I wouldn't have to worry about scratching or dropping or getting stained with paint. It works for just about all the reasons that I would need a knife. So I decided to keep it.Pros: Built like a tank. Sharp and Sturdy. Ugly and inexpensive enough to use as a work knife for any application. You could drop this thing out of a truck, pick it up off the street and it would probably still work just fine. Has a sharp point on the handle end that could be used to bust open a window or crack a skull. Also a simple, convenient hole on the handle end to attach a small rope as an alternate to the pocket clip.Cons: Heavy. Square, Glock-like handle which is somewhat uncomfortable to hold. I am going to take off the pocket clip - which only works as a right pocket clip. Spring assist is sluggish which was the biggest disappointment of the knife. It hurts my finger to open - but it does open.

This knife is so great! It opens up in an instant with the tiniest effort. A slight push to the corner nub and it flys open and locks rock solid. No play when locked at all. Can be opened with one hand/finger easily. Has a perfect hand feel and weight, very balanced. Came razor sharp and ready for use. They also included a small bag with a few extra screws and a key that can be used to remove screws and increase/decrease the main tension changing the spring intensity. For the price this is far beyond what I expected, my new favorite knife! The only negative is the flimsy belt case but the high quality of this knife deserves my 5-stars. Awesome!

Solid, lethal at any price and far and away the best value...
This family of folding knives (two blade designs X 2 handle colors) is the best combat folder I've ever run across AT ANY PRICE. That said, it is also the best value for the money. The knife (in all its permutations) is solid and stiff even as it works flawlessly. Hoping to make a great think perfect, I suggest the following (in order of personal preference): (1) expand each blade design to include serration along the entire bottom edge of the blade (while keeping the diagonal/point portion of the blades as they are now); (2) offer every variation in left-handed design; and (3) either make the thumb post operation of the knife easier/more reliable or get rid of the thumb post altogether.I currently own all four versions of this knife and will continue to purchase them as gifts for friends. A serrated version (even without a marlin spike) would be much appreciated by boaters (a sizable market). You can spend several times more than the cost of these knives and not get anything that works better. This company deserves loyalty and encouragement.

Good knife for what it is
The blade is thick, looks and feels sturdy. The spring assist has just enough force to swing it open and it operates every time. But there are some issues. There are a couple of design flaws: 1. There are not enough screws holding the pommel pieces in place. Right out of the box one of these was loose on mine and no matter how much I tighten it the screw continues to work itself loose again over time. 2. The screw holding the handle to the blade is starting to loosen as well, and also having the same problem as the pommel piece screws. 3. Star head screws throughout the knife (instead of hex head screws) make it a little difficult to perform maintenance on the knife.

Still a Great knife
Ive had this knife for two weeks, and its my everyday carry knife. Ive used it to scrape off caked on hardened sanding dust from my orbital sanding pads and its still sharp. Also cut open many boxes. The base of the knife handle would work great as a non lethal weapon like a kubaton. Its spring assisted and is set on an actuator so with a single flip of the finger the blade is out and ready. Decent steel I sharpened it with my electric sharpener in seconds and its sharp enough to shave my arm hair off. I cant say enough good things about this knife and don't get the negative reviews. If you have a problem amazon will make it right. These days its common to get a Lemmon even with more expensive gear, thats no reason to leave a negative review. I love this great knife. If you've read my previous review you'd know I'm use to a knife that cost 3 to 4 times more. This knife is just as good in some aspects better.
