Linux support is good.
Bought two and both have worked without problems. One has the Win-10 on it I only use it to stream movies to the TV. The second has become my "Desktop" computer. I erased the Win-10 and installed Lubuntu 17.1 with good results except there was no sound output for HDMI. Found a workaround that gave sound. Later installed the Lubuntu 18.04 and now have everything working. It is making an adequate desktop with a USB 2 and USB-3 bus extenders added. The USB-3 has a 160 GB HD attached that boots another Lubuntu 18.04. Working for about three months with no problems. These are the Minis Forum 4GB Ram and 64GB storage computers. Minis Forum provides a website for technical assistance.

Choppy video playback even at lowered resolution
I wanted this to work, I really did. The purpose for buying this was to use it as a media PC hooked to my HDTV. I wanted to be able to stream online videos, watch DVDs with an attached DVD drive, and play previously downloaded/recorded content off an external hard drive. While it was able to do all of these things, It didn't do them well at all. I experienced choppy video playback on every media type I tried when I went to full screen mode. I lowered the resolution settings all the way down to 1600x900 (way lower then the 4k resolution this device advertises). I tried several different media players, and several different web browsers, even tried different HDMI cables to see if that was the issue. After days of trying to manipulate the graphics settings I just couldn't get the thing to play video back smoothly. Looking at performance monitor in task manager the CPU would go to 100% when trying to play video in fullscreen. This just doesn't have the graphics/cpu power to use it for what was intended. I was able to return and get a refund and bought a small-format-low-spec Dell Inspiron computer which has worked well for my application.

Windows Product Key INVALID after Fall Creators Update to build ...
Windows Product Key INVALID after Fall Creators Update to build 1803 - reverted back to 1709 and the license showed valid again, allowing me to use personalization settings again. have run updates since and have not gotten 1803 build back, got cumulative for 1709 instead... Not sure who's more at fault here, Microsoft or Mini Forums. Anyway, product working as expected aside from the licensing issue. Will try to update this review after next few rounds of Windows updates.

Z83-F Fanless MINI PC Desktop, Windows 10
I was skeptical about purchasing this mini computer but I was pleasantly surprised. I opted for the 4/64GB version because 2/32GB is not enough memory or disk space, 64GB is also kind of small but is better than 32GB, I coupled this with a VicTsing Ultra-Slim Mini Wireless Touchpad Keyboard. This combination works great. I have it connected to a 43 inch TV via HDMI and a very fast network. and streaming works very good. I don't play video games so I can't says how game play is but streaming video is the bomb I love it.

The best in features and price in its class, purchased my second one.
This is my second Minis Forum unit. Very satisfied. Besides better price and excellent customer support, it has two major advantages over competition: 1- It comes with Windows PRO which is the only version that supports Remote access and other advanced networking functions 2- You can configure the BIOS to automatically start even after complete power loss due to outage and you will be able to once again connect to it remotely (contact customer service for instructions). I updated it from Windows 10 Pro 1803 to 1809 without any issue. This is the best in its class, both in terms of features and price and the best option for remote and secure control of your local network and the devices attached to it.

Just received this today and quite impressed. This is the 4GB/64GB version and does include Windows 10pro. I had no trouble (other than finding I need to hold down the power button to get it to boot and finding a tiny blue LED on top) and the from-scratch WIndows install routine ran cleanly. This is NOT a speedy unit but completes fine. System info also shows it is registered with Microsoft. For now I'm hardwired ethernet into my switch, using a wired mouse and wireless keyboard I had. I then configured remote desktop on the unit, edited its name and connected to it from my primary desktop machine on my lan. Checking the Wifi, it does see my 2.4 and 5ghz networks as expected. There are few instructions but clean professional looking quick guide and box, pointing you to their user forum for more information. I just also set it up to VPN to a clients network, no problem. After all this, there is 38.3GB of 56.6 GB free space. For ref, the OS is 1709 Build 16299.309

It's perfect for what I do
So far, this PC rocks! I got it after my first mini PC ran out of space with a 32 Gig hard drive and decided that buying more memory and RAM and new software install costs just as much as this one. It's perfect for what I do. Online shopping, surf the web, YouTube videos, update the GPS and run Office for students. It's got 34 gigs of hard drive space left after installing everything, so updating Windows 10 shouldn't be a problem. Hopefully it should last for some time to come.

Failed after 7 months
Booted up OK, and seems to work just fine. Surprisingly speedy for such a small device, and is great for a budget HTPC. I haven't had any issues yet with this device.Video performance could be better for an HTPC though.UPDATE Jan 2019: Device seems to be failing after 7 months. Video output became really choppy, NIC stopped working randomly, and just now it fails to boot into Windows keeps going into Automatic repair. Re-installing windows unsuccessful so far.
