Good, but battery is an issue
It does the job, and is a good back up for when you can't find your OEM MS stylus. The lack of an eraser is annoying, but all of the low cost replacement pens use a button for the eraser function. However it does not seem to shut itself off or go to sleep and drains its battery. this diminishes it use as a back up since it can be DOA when it comes out of my bag when my MS stylus has wandered off. Would be great if the power issue could be fixed.

A low-cost alternative to the MS version
My original Surface Pro pen disappeared during over-zealous customs inspections in Tahiti. The MS replacement was expensive, so I decided to try this version.It has worked well now for a couple months. On the positive side, it's lighter, the buttons are easier to use, and it seems more responsive. My only negative is that it doesn't have the strong magnet of the original, but that's fine for me.

Revived my Surface Book
Being an artist I never have liked the pen that came with the first generation Surface Book. I tried the 4096 pressure pen and it was a much better experience but for me it still lacked something. This pen has turned my Surface Book into the worthwhile drawing experience I have been looking for. Its not an iPad, but its become a solid performer, something that took 3 years to accomplish. I recommend it to other Artists and definitely for note takers etc.

Burns through batteries, super wobbly
It's a nice idea to make a stylus for the Surface Pro that looks and feels like a Wacom stylus, and having tilt is a nice bonus, but I'm not sure if I got a bad stylus or what, but it would burn through batteries in a couple hours. Also lines and curves were super wobbly compared to other pens I tried.

Best pen for Surface Pro
Its not that expensive and it responds very well without bluetooth. A little difficult to make straight lines but other than that its worth it

Works great at half the Microsoft price.
Does everything the Microsoft version does, but costs half. Good by me.
