These nail files are nice, but I would like one side to be a bit more fine than the other, for final smoothing. Instead, there is minimal, if any, difference to each side of these. Nice to have multiples for various storage locations (purse, car, bathroom, desk).

Fine side and coarse side. They work fast. My nails split frequently and filing them fast before they split into the quick saves pain. These work well.

I purchased these as stocking stuffers for my daughters and granddaughters for Christmas this year. I used one to "try it out". It worked just fine. The sheath is nice too, to protect the file as well as anything it might come in contact with, like the inside of a purse. A good purchase I was happy too in the fact that it came in a larger pkg. with more files.
